Is it too far fetched to consider maybe that trailer is just cinematic-shot gameplay? I mean, Arkham Knight's trailer was mostly gameplay and it looked pretty similar to this...

That was freaking amazing, but we only seen Sub and scorp, do you guys think we are going to get a gameplay/cgi trailer for E3???

Well... that music is absolutely terrible for MK and I would have preferred to see different characters as Scorpion and Sub-Zero have been played out enough. However, I'm still excited as hell.

I really like the new looks for Scorpion and Sub-zero. Definitely a different take than what we're used to.

Also if the trailer is any hint to features we might see in the final game, it looks like we will be able to interact with the environments like in Injustice. With Sub-zero pulling a tree branch off to use and also using a branch to swing on, ala Johnny Cage from the first MK movie.

I'd be disappointed, just because the story mode for the last game left everything set up for a continuation of that story with Quan Chi and Shinnok plotting their invasion of Earthrealm.

I thought that trailer was ass. Seriously, didn't anyone else thought they moved really unnatural? And that music sucked.

Well both outfits look awesome and not over the top... Sadly no other characters shown... For me the most interesting one will be Reptile, if he is in the game after all

That said, it is indeed a pretty cool trailer. Sub/Zero back as human... oh well, I guess it was too much to hope for him staying a cyber ninja. He looks nice though, albeit somewhat simplified compared to the MK9 look. And so does Scorpion, but that is to his benefit, as his MK9 look had too much going on and looked really stupid, imo. I actually quite like this look for Scorpion. A lot more gritty and less golden superhero in spanx.

From what we can tell from this trailer, there might be some stage-interaction in MKX, like there was in Injustice. We see Sub-Zero using a branch pulled from a tree, and we see him swing in another branch, AND there might be stage weapons as well, as we see Subbie grab a sword that is on the stage and uses it, and when he gets hit, the sword leaves his hand. Might just be for the sake of the trailer, but it could just as well be an indication of what's to come in-game.

And we see Scorpion do an X-Ray move on Subbie, glad they kept that in.

*x-rays are back, as they should be.
*the arena looked like the Living Forest during winter. Interesting to see how the weather change can mix the stage up.
*the designs for Sub and Scorp looked alright, but I'll have to see what they look like in gameplay before I make a final judgment.
*looks like arenas could be interactable, like Injustice.

The imagery during the fight shift between standard and cinematic. We may have very well saw actual gameplay.
