What is BRC's infinite? Only guarantee one I know is frosts.

blame people like ray for the infinites being in the game. its in the game right?? if its in the game then it will be allowed. UMK had infinites. capcom games have infinites. now, i dont like that they r in the game but what can i do. maybe ray will do his job right when MK6 comes out. but for the record infinites WILL be allowed at TiT.

If I was going, after hearing this I would be changing my plans. I'm not going to be travelling hundreds of miles to play with this bullshit.
After people saw MIC use A.King's infinite mount used in the World Tourney it was BANNED from then on out. This should be the same...and it isn't anyone's fault.

What's the point of Infinites in tourney play? They don't provide any well developed strategy when one player doest it to everybody he/she plays. Tournament matches are and should be chess matches. Sure the weak players will be weeded out in the early rounds, but what do they serve as the tourney goes on. They surely don't show what skill that particular plaey has. Just cause someone can pull em' off doesn't mean that person has 'mad skillz'. I remember some joker sweeping the hell out of another player in a corner when they were playing MK2 way back in tha day. There were some good players at that arcade that particular day, but this fool just kept sweeping and did jump-back kicks to keep his opponents in the corner. After watching this fool brag about himself being "the Beast", I played someone elses quarter and Dive kicked his ass to death with Kung Lao so he'd know what it felt like!
I's say that if somebody walked into a tourney with the intent of pulling off Infinites, just punk his/her @$$ out as soon as possible. There's really no need to waste your and everyone elses time having to watch someone just 'one trick pony' their way through a tournament. And the people who just show up to be spectator don't want to see somebodys 'cheese'. Me and my frinds follow 'The Pony' rule when we go to an arcade or a tourney. If we see a 'pony' (One trick Mo Fo's who have little or no skill), put your quater up and put down that fool as quickly as possible!
Some may say that Infinites are apart of the game. Yeah! True, BUT don't associate the technical aspect of simply pulling them off with the technical aspect of being a COMPLETE player! They're NOT one in the same! Some 'Ponies' believe that just geting way with Infinites will make them better player in general. My feeling on their position can be summed up in one sentence:
"Just cause you pour syrup on $h*t; don't make it pancakes!"
...and that's my $.02.....plus another $.25.

yeah, but if i remember correctly, that infinite mount did not deplete the health bar...it just kindof 'held the opponent in place' until time ran out....cheap, sure, but you had to get the lead first for that to work.
the infinites in MKDA do NOTHING BUT deplete the health bar, so the 'cheapness quotient' is much higher in this case konqrr...
peace out bros!

FINALLY!
Cage vids up. This is the first time I've really sat down to play him and so far, I haven't played a character in MKDA that I don't like...Mavado gets stale after awhile, but that's it.

capcom players have games that filled with infinites yet they dont ban them.

It's one thing to do a 100% combo, but to be able to do one combo over and over again easily is another. Infinites are stupid...and will piss off alot of people if you use it at TiT.
As for the Bo infinite, you've asked 3 times now so here goes:
Drunken Fist - 2,2,1,1,5,2,5, b+1, wait, puke, 5, repeat
CHEEZY!

Infinites allowed? WTF? I was gonna go, but fuck that. Its gonna be a Cheese fest with all Frost and BRC players. No skill at all. Just d,b+3,d,f+4 and 2,2,1,1,cs,2,cs,b+1,b,f+2 cheese. What a dissapointment. Whoever decided on this needs to have a change of heart immediately, or they can expect to see 5 players tops at TiT5 for MKDA.
PS: new kori juggle. 3~cs~cs~d+2,1,2,cs does 21% and beats out all my previous Kori juggles. The timing is really wacked, however.

maybe....but if you have an opportunity to go, you should. i can't think of anything that will boost your knowledge/skill faster than playing peeps that are either on your level or better.
BTW: good Subby stuff.
peace out bros.

hmm.. if this is true, looks like we won't be able to see true tiers till the next major mk tournament.

This is what I use:
Kori 3, 5~b+2, b,d+2, 5~SM, 1,2,5
5 is Change Style and ~ means to press immediately after. So 5~b+2 is press Change Style then press b+2 quickly.
I Was using Nitara last night and used Leopard d+3 (i think that's the button...the low sweep kick) and my brother had a really hard time countering it...I could use it over and over again and all he could do was sidestep and sweep which I abused. When I thought he was going to block low, I'd go immediately into Leopard 1,1,1 combos and it would catch him on the way down to block.

Let's post the highest damage combos for each character. I will put the highest ones I've done...not counting opponent being in weapon stance.
Sub-Zero - 51%
Scorpion - 34%
Kitana - 37%
Kung Lao - 90%
Li Mei - 40%
Nitara - 116%
Mavado - 41%
Sonya - 76%
Cage - 36%
Jax - 57% (MKL says that if all hits connect in this combo, which is not listed, it will do 59%...it's very difficult and I have yet to do it)
I haven't really played the other characters much, so I don't have combos for them yet. List your highest damage combos...all of the percentages I listed above are available for download on my website with the exception of the 51% combo for Sub-Zero which is Dragon SM, d+2, 5~5~b+2, 1,2,4,5,2,5 started a little away from the wall and ending at the wall.

Dragon: b,d+2~sm~cs~cs~1,2,b+2,b+2,cs,1,2,cas dpes 41% and is Sub Zero's strongest juggle not counting walls.
Wall stuff is fun, but it isn't all that reliable or effective. I tend to stick with the non wall stuff.

Alright, please no one flame me for this if I'm off a little bit, or if anyone has posted this before, but check this out:
With Scorpion - 15 hits, 42%
Hapkido: Spear, IMMEDIATE ground flame (d,b+2), 2,2,CS,2,CS,1,1,3,WAIT,3,pause briefly,4,1,1,3
Now I'm not sure if it has to do with
a) If you sidestep in conjunction with the flame (down ss, then quickly b+2)
b) The distance the opponent is away from you when you spear or
c) Whether or not you're playing the cheapass computer that can do things you can't anyway...
...but it seems to work pretty much 99% of the time that you're tight enough to do it. If done correctly, the opponent is still in one of the final animation frames of the "flame dance" when the first 2 connects. I'm not sure whether or not it IS blockable or not after the flame, but it registers nonetheless. Any thoughts?

Append to last post:
If you start with the u+4, and leave out the wait 3, it does 39% on a character who is not in weapon stance, so that might eliminate the spear distance theory.
Also: I have gotten the spear/fire/2 (the logistics behind this combo) to work in some way, shape, or form against a computer opponent in every match to the end (except Moloch, of course) in Normal mode. Will also try in the next two harder modes, but I'm still not sure if it's just so fast between the flame and the first 2 that it just registers anyway even though the computer can block, and just doesn't?...any help would be greatly appreciated.
