Anyway, the news are very very good, and I'm already excited to see who else will be revealed.

and well, as some already know, I also hope for Poison Ivy, but considering its very unlikely that we will see 2 females announced and no males, I guess it could be:

*FROM MORTAL KOMBAT*:

* Mileena
* Shang Tsung (I think he has some chances, but only one sorcerer might make it)
* Quan Chi (I think he has some chances, but only one sorcerer might make it)
* Shao Kahn (as much as I love him, I doubt he will make it as playable)
* Kano (I also doubt he will be in this game)

*FROM DC UNIVERSE*:

* Joker
* Poison Ivy (unlikely, but one can hope )

I also hope they show us new footage of Sonya and Flash...Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Batman and Superman are being abused so much its getting very boring.

I hope its Shao Khan but I think it will be Baraka and the Joker. I can't wait to see what the jockers moves are and half assed FATALITY.

Btw, what villians could there be for the DC side besides the Joker? Everyone says the Joker, but arent there other iconic faces? (even though Batman villians are the best)



Mileena can be your biggest whore (ah, bless her), but she isn’t close to being “flunky”, specially after MKD. If anything, she is the one with the brains and playing with puppets.

Here's what I think of when they mention villains:

Legion of Doom!

Personally, I think the Joker is too expected. Pick somebody more obscure, like Black Adam, Calypso, or Darkseid.

MK-wise, I think Quan Chi, Shang Tsung, and Shao Kahn are the big three villains, though Onaga wouldn't be too bad either.

The first 3 yes, but I can just imagine the angry uproar if Onaga was chosen...he isnt iconic, nor is he really a favorite villian to take the spot of other more loved characters, imo.

Yeah, Onaga is hardy iconic... but it would be nice to have him as a contender after his one-and-only boss slot was rather disappointing.

I think it's either going to be Kitana or Mileena... I don't think they'll include both.

Not considering how iconic everyone is, I think that's all of them on the MK side. Some of the other character, and even some of these depend on which game they reference to make them "bad guys" or not. I think I could've put Li Mei, Cyrax, Havik, Sindel, Drahmin, Moloch, Noob Saibot & Smoke, and weren't Jade & Reptile evil at one point or another?

You guys have no idea how much I'm hoping it's Mileena and The Joker. I've been wanting Mileena in the new game since forever, and after the shock over DC's inclusion blew over a little bit, I've been yearning for some Joker, he's awesome! ^_^ I just hope they go for something like the new movie look-wise, and not the clown-looking thing from other media.

Now correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't "never before seen" imply brand-new characters? I'm guessing that this will be the new boss and sub-boss.

I believe boon said no brand new characters were being introduced on either side of the roster.

I'd rather see my beautiful Tanya in the game any day over Mileena.

And I'd like to see Poison Ivy.
