Future games? LOL

Hey, a good company might buy MK. There could be a future for the franchise yet.

Did they make it sound like they were planning more podcasts?

Topics of interest would be DLC, Midway's financial crisis, and something remotely specific about plans for future MK games. I'm assuming none of these are discussed.

Have these guys never heard of GameFAQs. Please tell me they arent this ignorant that they think giving out move lists is a big deal. What a waste of time. And what the hell ever happened to actually downloading these as your own file to listen to later on at your own leisure or even import to Itunes to listen on my IPod instead of this stupid streaming shit.

You know I hate listening to stuff like that and every few seconds you hear stupid sound effects.Yeah I mean,I get it,its MK you don't have to keep reminding us every few seconds by playing the sound effects from the games,we know what we're listening to.Sorry,its just a little thing that has always bothered me.

There's really nothing in there new or useful,so for those who haven't listen to it yet,don't expect any new information or anything to make your day better with the game.I know I am complaining but damn,there's really nothing useful there to listen to that we don't already know.

Yes, Hector said that there will definitely be more podcasts. Boon joked on getting the MK9 Mkasts started. Now that MK vs DC is finished the door is wide open for them to address many of these topics that are of interest to us MK fans. Hopefully they will in detail, but as far as the financial situation, I have a feeling that instead of directly talking about it, they'll probably continue to reassure us that everything is going well within the company. Either that or Boon will continue to refer to Midway's debt situation as white noise to him lol.

While I appreciate the effort Fuzzdork, the only thing that link does is the exact same thing when you click on the link at worldscollide. It downloads the file internally (automatic temporary internet download file) instead of opening a download box where it gives you the option saving to your computer (which is what Im talking about) and then plays as an imbedded quicktime file on a blank internet explorer page.

I know, really. My uncle is 50 and he's a gamer. There's no age limit.

I'm 27 (been with MK since 1 in arcade's), married, full time job, have a life (before you throw a bone on older gamers not having lives), still manage to post on the forums.

Ed Boon is getting into his 40's. As well as most developers being older than 25yrs old. Besides that stuff, the trend in general, is to generalize entertainment so that a product can appeal to as many age groups as possible. I don't see a problem with any aged person showing interest in games. We all like them, and older men are generally the ones making some of the most childish games to play. lol

btw, I'll be 27 in two days, got kids, damn near married, in college..and then, I'm a mod on a game site.... Who cares?

Yeah, I'll probably still like playing video games when I'm old.

We didn't get a sliver MK news till April of this year, seven months before the game's release. Putting that into perspective, we probably won't be seeing another MK installment till 2010. So what exactly are they going to tell us?

And don't even say downloadable content. We have a year minimum till we see an update regarding MK9, so if the next ten MKasts talk only of DLC, I'll do a fucking backflip.

What doesn't make "a lick of sense" to me is how Bezo is one of the most well-known members of the community, even though by his own admission, he hasn't liked a single MK game since 2 or 3.
