Good news.

Good...I mean great news to hear that we will be getting bios and so on to straighten up the story even just a little bit.

I'm satisfied with the fact that they paid attention in the first place.

There was a complaint about it.....they resopnded accordingly. Seems like a pretty good thing to me.

I'd like them to be a bit longer than the ones we normally get though, since it's online there shouldn't be a problem "space" or "time" wise. A new Picture per character wouldn't hurt but I could even live without that.

For the love of shit, everyone stop moaning and complaining about how "bad" the biographies will be already! These people are not going to give us those stupid trading card bios, and in case none of you have noticed, the game's been out for over A MONTH. Considering that Vogel was working on biographies before the game was even released, that a good month has already past, and that they've not given us a specific date to have these bios out (for all we know, they'll be out by December), they will have plenty of time to fix up any inaccuracies and inconsistencies, as well as explain all the deatils that we're hungering for.
Honestly, there's only so much pointless bitching I can take, particularly since almost everyone in this thread who has said that the bios will suck wanted the biographies in the first place. They are doing this for the fans, people, they do not have to do this at all, and they are, they are going to explain everything, so either sit back, deal with it, and enjoy, or stop asking for more and more shit when the next game comes out.

I think it's because most fans have a case of "too little, too late."

This is good news I guess but as far as I'm concerned these bios are practically worthless now. If MK is really starting over fresh and "going in a direction nobody expects" then bios released way after the fact for Armageddon just seems like a waste of time.

I don't really care one way or the other though because Armageddon is largely dead to me now anyway so... Yeah, this is good news to people that still are desperately looking for answers to the storyline.

I'm really glad that the bios are coming online that is a relief. The bios is the only thing that can save MKA now. But even though I am glad it seems pretty cheap that they'll be released on the forums. I mean what about the MKA site itself? More specifically the characters page in the game section. What is the the point of that then? I mean there are character videos but they are pretty lame and that's it. It would be a smarter thing to do if they just added the character bios to the characters page. Doesn't that make more sense?

It is better to be proactive rather than reactive, these bios should have been released when they game came out.

Nice, hopefully this will stop the constant bitching of certain fans......I'm sure some will make threads saying how Sektor's bio sucked though or Sub's or someone to complain about.Just be happy we are getting them and enjoy it.

I love MK regardless, worse come to worse they wouldn't reveal them until MK8 which honestly would have been fine with me.

People, are you not reading it correctly? They said that bios will be up IN THE FORUMS SECTION of the site, which means that you most likely will have to SIGN UP before you can see them.

I have a very, very bad feeling about this. Seriously, if they're going to finally release bios for the game, then why are they doing so on their forums instead of, oh.....THE MAIN SITE?! This does not bode well, people. Hunker down, we're in for a ride.

I can't wait finally I'll be able to clear things up because there are many characters that were sppose to be dead that I never figured out how they came back such as Sheeva who got killed by Shao Kahn when she was going to betray him.

"It's only a video game!" Yeah, maybe, but if you bought a car, and it didn't have all of the features that the ad claimed it had, you'd be pretty pissed, too, right? On eBay, you can demand a refund and ping the seller for misuse of their auctions if the item they sold is not as it is described. Yes, it's a video game, but it did not live up to all we were told it would, and we have every right to be pessimistic about it. Again, just because you'll settle for mediocre crap and broken promises, doesn't mean that everyone on here should.

You're talking an item that goes for $15,000 more that people can get because they need to get to work and get places versus some idiotic video game you can just trade in once all the fat kids living in their moms basements whining about this take the time to wipe the cheeto dust off of their chubby fingers long enough to let the sun hit their pale, acne covered skin. If you don't like the freaking game, then get a clue and leave the freaking forum and move on. Let those of us who actually can appreciate what IS being done do so and shut the hell up and get lost.
People claim it was rushed yet it has more features and additions than any MK game released to date. People whine about the story and now they're turning around and fixing that and people still whine. FYI NONE OF YOU are even REMOTELY entitled to the things they're giving you. They make games because they enjoy doing so for a living. They didn't have to add either Chameleon in, or Motaro, or character endings, or Motor Kombat, KAK, KAF, or even Konquest, or aerial combat. You may buy the game, but you don't freaking own the makers of the game. If you don't like that you can't control how they do everything or how they do it, tough shit. You make a concious decision as to whether you spend money on their product or not, so if you're pissed that you bought the game and it wasn't what you expected it to be, then too bad. Shut the hell up for a few freaking minutes, get off your ass, go outside, take a breath, and take in the reality of the situation.
When you have a multi-million dollar company with the success of Midway, then you can come back and comment on what they should or shouldn't have done or what would and wouldn't be best for the game. Then maybe you'll also have some sort of understanding that you can't freaking satisfy every person on the face of the planet because they'd rather bitch. Just like with Deception, just like with Deadly Alliance, just like with MK4, just like with Trilogy. Jesus. Can't wait for these , and I don't why people are saying the bios are gonna be shit when you haven't read them yet, and when they have had good amount a time to think and write up these bios ( like someone said on here) they should explain the key things we need to know so all the complaining people calm down and just hope for the best and if they do come out bad it will be very annoying and I could see why people would be complaining then you should only really complain not now when you haven't even read them.

If you're not by any means any sort of fanboy, then why in the fuck are you on here, trying to defend it? It makes as much sense for you to do so, than you think it is for us to bitch about it. I STILL haven't seen ANY evidence that there was THIS kind of bitching over Deception or Deadly Alliance, and from what I've read of the features we were promised in those games, they DID deliver. Here, however...we got roughly a quarter of what was promised, all half-assed and glitchy. Seriously, how long did it take people to find infinites for Deception or Deadly Alliance? Weeks, months even? And how long did it take them to find infinites for Armageddon? How long did it take to convince the MK team to finally put the bios for the characters up, especially after it was confirmed that no such bios existed in ANY official capacity? How many glitches have been found, so far?

Jsut because it isn't essential for us to live does NOT mean that we should accept shoddy workmanship for the game. We don't need a computer to function, yet you wouldn't be satisfied with a laptop that only had half of the storage capacity it was listed as having, a buggy operating system, and a sound card that likes to cut out at random. It is still a consumer good, and if it doesn't live up to what was officially stated about it, then we should NOT be satisfied with it. For those of us who haven't bought it yet, yeah, we shouldn't be stupid enough to waste our money, but me and a ton of other people had it on preorder, meaning that we had absolutely no idea just how bad it was until we actually had the game in our hands. What, do you expect us to be mind-readers, and predict when a game isn't going to be all it's cracked up to be?

And what fucking content were we given that's 'more than any other MK game ever'? Lesse: we have online play, a sucky-ass Mario Kart reject (with no other mini-games available), a short but sweet Konquest mode, a half-done KAK mode, and sixty-four characters to play as. Big fucking deal; more is NOT better, if what we got is only half-assed. The past games may not have as much content, but they WERE far more fun, because they didn't stray as far from what made MK so great as Armageddon did. Even Trilogy, which is the best comparison I can think of to this game, is better than this. Yeah, we got 'more', but that's like being given a lifetime's supply of tofu; it's more, but it's not very fulfilling or satisfying.

I thought we've gotten over this butting of heads between those satisfied with the game and those who hate it. Just let us bitch and go play your game in peace, that way we should all be happy. Besides, if you're not a fanboy in any shape or form as you claim to be, then this doesn't really concern you, does it?

For those who say too little-too late: Did you enjoy Trilogy? If so, do you understand that you are a hypocrite? I really thought that MK3 was done very poorly, and the game mags agreed with me. So they redid it and made UMK3. That didn't exactly satisfy everyone, so Trilogy came along. If you can accept late add ins from the past, accept them now.

Yes, there was a deadline. Yes, there were issues. Yes, things couldn't be done the way they originally wanted them done. But in all honesty, using business sense to address the issue, don't do business with said company or group again if you feel cheated. Raging and ranting doesn't fix it. Threats won't fix it, and they certainly haven't cheated anyone enough to consult the Better Business Bureau. Say to yourself "I am a fan no longer," and go on.

I can understand the occasional stab at the game and some humorous criticism(which Bezo likes to do), but this stomping ground screaming doesn't get anything done, and it makes everyone unhappy in the end.

Again, if you feel that cheated, put it to rest and move on. Never look back at them.

To the guy bitching about infinites being found WEEKS to MONTHS after Deception was released, and them being found very shortly after with Armageddon... come on... get real. Armageddon is a hell of a lot more balanced than Deception ever was. They were found DAYS after Deception was released.

It wasn't too hard to accomplish that, but get the facts straight.

I must be one of the few that are okay with Kata endings. I am under the understanding that drawing 2 - 3 excellent ending pictures for 62 characters is a little much to do when other stuff has to be done. (that's 124 drawings if ALL the characters had just two pieces of art in their ending. 186 for 3 for each.) Some stuff had to be sacrificed.

I'm glad the game plays better than Deception more than anything. It's not the best game ever, but it's at least more playable. Only thing I really miss is puzzle kombat. That was a great diversion. Motor Kombat would have been on par with it if I could customize the options for it and there were at least 2 - 3 more tracks to choose from. Oh, and konquest felt a bit too short. I didn't pay for those games though, I paid for Kombat.

My thing about the bios. I'm glad they're even releasing them. Deadlines are a bitch. It totally sucks that they weren't released with the game, but jumping the gun and saying that they WILL suck before they are ever released is kind of childish. Let them be released and THEN judge.

Think about it. They added three characters at the last minute, added at least three decent diversions from normal kombat, and are still trying to get something out AFTER the game has been released.

With as much as the MK team has been trashed, they at least deserve a SMALL bit of credit for the work they do. IF MK:A got pushed back as much as MK:U for the PSP did, I guarantee that they would have accomplished everything they wanted to for it. I'm not saying the game would have been miles better, but people would have not been complaining over as much trivial shit that they have been complaining about.

Dude, problem is, you have an equal of ZERO of thought, everything you argue is always a preconceived thought that you state yourself won't change even against the best argumentation. So everytime you state a fact, it's never supported by anything that is more worth it as either "It's like so and that is it" or regarding MK it becomes "I will like it no matter what(even if it buttraped me)".
