i think it'd be kinda cool if subby just froze em and somehow made em melt real fast,that or let him do the classic freeze and shatter move without any blood maybe?

well, I'll make predictions for the confirmed characters

sub zero - an ice shatter (not really bloody, but classic)
scorpion - maybe toasty (It's never been a very bloody fatality, but cool)
superman - a real cool combo that ends with a piledriver or something
batman - something involving a batterang

I thought it would be bad ass if Superman took his opponent too space and then threw him into the sun.

thats pretty good but what if the flash runs straight into them and like makes a hole in his body after flash wipes the heart and organs of his face and stuff

I love to see any MK character crush his/her opponent with a MKII arcade machine.

Superman - Skull Crusher (Grabs the fellow by the head and BAM!), Laserbeam (that does not make the fellow explode), Cold Breath (Maybe, but that would take away Zero's spotlight),
Scorpion - Flaming Skull BBQ, A Kunai Stab (a really deep, long, and painful kunai stab to the chest or stomach...),
Sub-Zero - Freeze then break into pieces (he did it in one of the MK movies and it was rated what? PG-13?),
Batman - slits the fellow's throat with his gauntlets,

Unconfirmed Characters:

Flash - Goes superspeed for quite a wall until reaches a colossal wall and smashes the fellow right into it sort of like catapult deathtrap only that it seems more realistic,
Sandman - Sand Coffin! (Okay I don't know much about Sandman, but I'm just going to assume that he's somewhat like Gaara (Naruto) or Sandman (Marvel Comics),
Wonder Woman - Amazonian Punch of doom (Uppercut, a really bone breaking uppercut to the chest),
Aqua Man - Left arm of doom,
Shang Tsung - Soul Steal (like The One from DA without the exaggerated blood),
Shao Kahn - Hammer!,
Goro or Kintaro - Backbreaker,

I don't know how ESRB works exactly... so I'm just going to guess that stuff like kunai stabs aim for a T rating (Naruto)... and I don't know if sliting throats can be in a T rated game...

Prediction?: Largely Elemental and "Magical". Fire, Ice, "Aura", "*Poofs*", ect...

There are some technically "brutal" or violent things that you can do with this....But I'm not interested in "knock-off fatalities".


Watered Down, Half Baked, Reduced, Toned Down, or whatever else they wanna try and call it. NOT INTERESTED.

They better have a miraculously in-genius thing planned. Cuz last game sucked...

I think it would be cool if they were over the top and epic kind of like the final smashes in super smash brawl.

Yah it sucks we won't see heads being ripped off but, I just hope they trade gore for epicness.

I thought about this for a moment. They're not gonna be "Fatalities" so there won't be any deaths. There will still be blood, and unique supermoves. It MAY possibly be somewhere along the lines of Brutalities.

Batman hook-shots enemies feet and ties him upside down on a building. Next, he beats the living shit out of the upside-down opponent, as the blood drips onto the floor.

I kinda like the Superman flying opponent into space. But instead of sending opponent into the sun, he can beat the crap out of the opponent in mid-air then do an Atomic Pile-driver (Zangief?) back down to earth, creating a giant crater.

Sub Zero can freeze the opponent's legs and have the opponent struggle to break free. Sub-zero will the proceed to pounding him with a Brutality as he stands helpless and the ice begins to turn red.

Scorpion can set his opponent on fire and begins to beat the crap out of him with his Brutality. We won't exactly say the opponent burns to death. More along the lines of 3rd degree burns and maybe a coma, and nothing further.

i dunno where I'm going with this.

He confirmed there wouldn' be fatalities so he would replace them with a different kind of finishing move.

I kinda enjoyed most of Def Jam FFNY's finishers. Over the top and brutal.

Sub-Zero -

SPINE RIP:

Screen goes red and Sub-Zero goes into silhouette to tear off an opponents head.

FREEZE SHATTER:

Sub-Zero freezes the opponent and keeps freezing them. Cracks appear and the opponent explodes into icy chunks of body.


Scorpion -

NECK SNAP:

Scorpion shoots his spear at the opponent. "Come Here!" and then gets them in a headlock. After a struggle, he squeezes and then twists the neck, killing them. (they do this in PG action movies).

TOASTY!

Scorpion removes his mask and shoots a fireball at the opponent. They explode.


As for DC characters... Errrr?

Sub-Zero - Makes his fists into really hard ice and starts beating the shit out of opponent. While he hits, the opponents skin slowly turn to ice. Kinda hard to explain.

Scorpion - Kinda like his throw in MKA except over and over and not just the kicks.

Superman - Grabs opponent, punches, grabs again, kicks, repeat and finish with an uppercut

Batman - super combo attack with assorted baterangs.

I think thats a really cool finishing move for sub-zero.

I’m thinking Sub-Zero’s could be his deep-freeze and the opponent will fall and shatter off screen.

Boon did kinda hint to the idea of having the MK characters at least be able to kill each other, if not the DC guys.

So, maybe we will see Sub-Zero doing a censored spine rip to Scorpion (or a deep freeze) and some non-lethal finisher to Superman (who's own moves will be non-lethal).

I like the simple things. But to make it cooler, pun not intended, I'd have Sub-Zero walk up to his opponent, grab him by his throat and start freezing him solid. Then we get a side-view close-up of Sub-Zero looking his opponent into his pain ridden frozen face. Then he pushes him over with the same hand he was holding him by his throat and we only hear ice shattering.
