yep.chainsaws,trash cans,your own disemboweling hands...u can even hit em when your on a skate board.u can even unlock mega man clothes if u get certain achievements.even a mega buster.best gun i heard.you hear that,sicilyzbabe?



back on topic:what about power stone?you know,you run around beating eachother up and when a powerstone appears you grab it.when you get a certain amount,you transform with incredibly strong attacks.

theres actually this one guy,one of his super moves he charges up a big ball of hurt and throws it at you.it hurts

another guy repitidly jumps up and down causing a massive earthquake.wow.lol
also you get weapons like a shield,gatling gun,and a pole that can change size.wait,what?
I regret StrykerAndBarakaRule but I don't think I can change it. Oh well.

Hmm... A game where you rp a character, any character, from Mortal Kombat and fight through a horde of zombies, the story would be that the netherrealm got infused with earth after Onaga made a mistake in fusing the realms, and the character you choose would be the only mk character that isn't a zombie. The other mk guys would be bosses. It would be in a fighting engine like MK:SM, and you could do instant fatailities, not like in Shaolin monks. You could use any weapon you get your hands on, but you start out with the weapon from armageddon, or the other games if your guy didn't have a weapon. You could also create your own character.

I hate this place.

It would depend on how much the MK team wanted to put into it. If they just made character models that were 3-d with 3-d style backgrounds, but being only able to move like in MK1-MKT, then it would be really simple, just use the same models as the normal game, lowered in scale.

The second option, is going Street Fighter-like, and using computer made models with a 32 bit graphics look. They would resemble the way the Street Fighter games looked. The backgrounds would be made the same, just as they were back in the classic days. This would take a little more work from the MK team, but I think there would be a small chance of it happening if they decided to do the Classix style mini-game.

The last option, which I think is what you are asking me about, is using actual people like they did. When I said a classic style mini game, I wasn't meaning for them to use the same models as they did from the classic games. They would have to re-do actual people in costumes like they did back in the day. This, however, would take a lot longer than the other two ways of making the game, and theres very little to no chance of them working that hard to make a mini-game.

This was also posted in the "Idea" thread. I have some more ideas for mini games in the future.

1. How about we have a mini game that requires you to perform a kata....correctly.

Every character has their own kata already, instead of us just watching them all the time, we input the correct button sequences to perform the kata. Some of them look pretty cool.

A character may be required to pick up a weapon during this process and add it into thier kata, or maybe even multiple task are in order which could lead into a first person shooter type of situation.

Ex. Knife throwing is not out of the question for some MK charaters.
(we have plenty of ninjas)

A couple other different kinds of ideas for mini game spin-offs'

Ex. Nightwolf may have a kata that requires him to use his bow and arrow. To hit targets in the far away scenery. Think like the part in MKSM when you had to hit the sliding stone warriors to get to Reptile. That was hard and you had to use your characters natural fighting style to hit all of the stone warriors while standing in that circle. This idea would require quickness and accuracy.

Ex. Characters like Sonya, Stryker or Jax might use a hand gun in their kata. To characters like these I say: Take the movie "Equillibrium" as an example. Remember the gun kata in that movie?

These could even have a time limit associated with them to make it harder on you. I don't reccomend being able to control the level of difficulty though. If anything I'd use "Spartan: Total Warrior" as an example for level of difficulty, where as you complete a task, it gets noticably harder..and harder..and harder due to circumstance and button input sequences. It may even get faster too.


2. In following, according to the first person shooter ideas out there, You could be required to complete small missions in this mode(or even a separate mini game) that would have you eliminate "minions" of sorts according to your alignment. A character like Baraka might aim to take out humans/people, a character like Goro might take out centar's (I know, I know the whole Motaro thing) and anyone associated with "good" and visa versa.

In a mode like this I wouldn't be against multiple types of weapons though, as one individual in this game should be more skilled than the main weapon they used. Whatever main weapon they use should be the only one for the kata ideas above.


Now, Rewards for #1.

Rewards should be relative to the following:

1. Fair!! = 50-75-100 currency of some type
2. Good!! = 250
3. Excellent!! = 500
4. Fantastic!! =750
5. Supern!! = 1000

And so on and so forth according to the MKSM combo meter and the guy with the "Fatality" voice as the kata gets tougher and more indepth.

Rewards for #2.


Depending on who you take out and how they are dispotioned to your first person character. More or less a reward according. Boss type characters would grant you more of a reward of course.

3. One other thing I thought about after I posted this that I'll add is enviornmental incorporation. I mean, when you perform your kata you're not liable to stand still right? So, what about like a "chi" bar that would allow you to break things around you for further reward. Your chi bar fills up and maybe some sort of highlight on that certain part of the body (a limb like a your head, arm or leg depending on the character and their kata.) This would allow you to break stones, benches, wood piles, irraticate punching bags, ect. This "chi" bar could also allow for more ellaborate examples of that given characters powers too.

Take Raiden here for example. He is obviously not a maxed out character right? Well things like that electric shield seen in the opening fmv of MKDA could be perfomed in this "mode" or "mini game". To show the power capable of any given character. We got a sort of preview of a Raiden type kata in the extras you found in the graveyard. It was one little 30 sec video. But control and exploit that. See? Just another way to exploit each characters potential, and show and tell us more about out favorite characters.

You might, in the process of all this, scare off birds in the background or amaze an on-looking crowd of a small few. (Masters of that particular art or whatever) Just to give it more of a "wow" factor.

that idea is awesome... the kata i will come up... hmmm... *Jax gets a bazooka and shoots the crowd for not applausing at him*...
as for the FPS mini-game...
Certain Characters can pick up some certain guns... every character can use machine guns, pistols, shotguns, and the usuals... characters such as Jax, Goro, Kintaro, Motaro, and other huge people can carry Heavy Machine Guns and Huge Bazookas, but it's not an advantage because the small characters are faster and more agile, There are small vehicles such as cars with mounted guns, about 3-5 small characters can fit, any character, even Goro, can mount the gun... Goro, Kintaro, Sheeva, and Motaro can't go in tanks but they have more defense and health so that every character is balanced... Small characters can use 2-3 seater jets and they can fly places... Large Cargo Planes with weapons can be used by anyone and can fit 1-8 characters... etc... i'm going to update the first page now...

id like to add...anybody here everplay power stone?mine would kinda be like that but instead of gems they would be dragon symbols.armageddon cast,lvls,and quickie fatalitys for when theyre dead.

wow.i was gonna edit mine and mention the godlike special moves after you get 5 logos...but so its fair,they respawn every 2 minutes to end the match.i was gonna say...kung lao special:hat barrage
does a 500 hit combo with his hat resulting in massive damage.
then punch him then CUT THAT BITCHES ASS IN HALF!!
stryker:tazer and gun sandwich(crappy name...i knowgrin)
he does a big combo knocking the guy in the air then shoots him with a tazer for a minute then unleashes a full clip of a assault rifle then jumps up and knocks the guy down from the air.if you wanna post some specials you can if yuo want.oh.and 4 players,or 16 if playing online for some "kung fu chaos!(he he he)"and weapons even if the stage origonally doesnt have weapons.like in power stone you could get a bat a gatling gun a shield a pole that looks suspiciosly looks like the one goku has...even extends like his does(COPYWRITE INFRINGEMENT!!!!)and deathtraps.

GTA Kombat. Basicly an open environment (if they wanted to make it into a full game, they could make missions and shit).

well, you choose your MK kharacter, and fucking go crazy. Kill random people, evade the cops, drive around in cars, randomly do fatalities to people on the street.
