NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!
I'm sorry, but I had to scream that. It was great in MKA...but just there.
Let them focus on more important things like **Making each character unique** instead of wasting their time in giving us options to make some characters.
They should be worrying about not copying/pasting special moves, models and designs, etc.
I fear that a KAK would once again make them give all 20 characters shared moves and all that crap they did in MKA. They better not.
Btw, welcome to the forums!
I hope you have a good time around.

Thanks for the welcome. I registered here a while ago when MKA was still new. The clones was one of the main things i didn't like about MKA tbo.
i wont be surprised if they still do a copy paste job with the moves. I WISH they make them unique and give them all their own fighting stances.
My wish for a KAK would be for it to come on a separate disk and it only works on a PC. There should be a Basic or advanced mode. Basic mode should be like the KAK on MKA with presets.
Advanced would also have presets, but you can make your own moves, effects and costumes.
Then you can copy your fighter onto a USB stick so you can play him on the console.
Oh well, You can only wish

Well I respect your opinion, but create a fighter is the main reason, I believe that now we have a DC VS MK. A lot of people create Supermans, Batmans, Wonderwomans and see now the result. Lets enjoy

No kak should not be in it but there should be a second of each costume like in sould caliber 3 where you could edit the colors of different parts of your characters outfits so people can stop bitching about supernans bright blue and red outfit by the way I did not really like SC3 that much

Nah..dun't smell right...But then again, this is MK vs DC so, what the hell.
I’d like to see it return.
In MKA, it was a great place for me to channel my original fighters I’ve thought up for years into the game. Granted I couldn’t design it exactly how I wanted, but it was still awesome to see.
In MKvsDC, it would be great to create characters that didn’t make it from either franchise. There are separate teams for this sort of thing, it wouldn't effect the other parts.

I would welcome Kreate a Fighter, it would give me a chance to create my fav Mortal Kombatants that didnt make the cut,
NOOOOOO !
I have said it befor and I will say it again.
MK Armageddon was like a sand box Mortal Kombat game everything was wacky in that game and it belonged there,
and even though you would argue that this game is pretty goofy and wacky too,
it is still seems more serious then what Armageddon was.

YES Kreate a Character SHOULD be included!!!! Sorry to all of you nay sayers! THAT being said.. let me explain why
First.. Your reasoning why it shouldnt be included isnt a very solid reason.. Its cheap?? Im sorry but thats easily correctible. Boon just needs to make it so you can choose to fight against Kreate a characters on Xbox live or not.. by giving you the option, those who think its not fair to fight cheap players get their wish and dont have to, and those who like to get to. both are happy.
Second.. Its fun to make random characters.. im not one of the people who need to make cheap characters to be good.. but I do like to mess around and make random characters... its fun to be creative and fight against friends.. and not only that.. you can make characters that arent included in the game..
Third reason ties into my last reason. By making this an MK vs DC game, they are automatically alienating the MK fans who dont like DC or their characters.. that means they will only have 11 MK characters to choose from.. not very exciting.. For people like me whos favorite character is SMOKE, the chances of him making it in this game is very limited.. by having a Create a Character, i can make the ones I like who were excluded because they weren't "iconic"
Fourth.. By only having 20-22 characters in this game, it gives them a huge opportunity to make Kreate a Character MUCH better. Dont get me wrong, I want them to spend ALOT of time on those 22 characters, But they also can have a great K-A-C as well. People worry that boon and company would lose focus on important things like the characters or story or game play.. but thats not true.. A Great K-A-C would just suppliment that stuff. The next gen systems have more than enough memory and power to support this.
My verdict-- KREATE A CHARACTER SHOULD RETURN! Much improved from the last instalment, but return none the less!

That's a good point.
However, after all the newbies pissing me off with their cheap-ass KAK's on MK:A online, I will have to say that I don't want KAK in MK vs. DCU.
Like others have said, if Kreate A Fighter is in future MK games (which it should be, and BETTER with less stupid options. WHO THE FUCK WANTS TO CREATE A POWER RANGER?) they should have a list of pre-made fighting styles to choose from. Allowing fans to create custom movesets is always a bad idea. I mean, every single one of my Kreated Fighters has at least one 100% combo. I don't play online though.

Why would create a fighter return when someone could just make up their own Street fighter/Dbz mix into a MK v.s. DC game. I'd bet 200 dollars create a fighter wont cut it on MK vs DC.

KAK.... it just sucked imo.... it wouldnt of been too bad if it had pre-set fighting styles to choose from.... it coulda been so easy to just have all the fighting styles the other chars have be available to use on your KAKs and it wouldnt of been that bad....
anyways yeah NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO to KAK in this game OR the next one after it..... there is much more important aspects and crucial aspects of the series that need to be focused on.... we never really need a KAK ever again to be honest....

So the cons are:
- The chosen moves being broken (online and off)
- The lack of options to choose for appearance wise
These are being judged from the last system, if it’s in, everything has changed.
Everything else I can think of with this mode is a plus.

KAK = Kreate A Kharacter
reason for not using "KAF" is because instead we use that for "Kreate A Fatality". So calling it "KAK" limits confusion.

i dunno about anyone else but create a character is alot better than vs dcu. i think it should return but not in mk vs dcu. they should take the time to revamp the whole create a character system.
people say noob this noob that but it doesnt matter one bit on the characters being made cheap...its the players! I made cheap characters and still got my butt handed to me online so its not the characters. some people are just sore losers and have to complain or want to get rid of the system.
sure the create system needs improvements but dont forget that it was the mk teams first attempt at the idea. i know i didnt like the fact that you couldnt use any special move for any button configuration....for instance like having scorpions get over here move as back, back, square as apposed to the current back, foward, square or whatever. all the specials should be able to change button configurations and all of them should be available for each configuration. also they should have many other special moves from previous mk games...like reptiles energy ball for example.
i dunno, people are just getting fed with great stuff and expect it to get better. personally i think mk vs dcu is just something to knock down the franchise just so that when the next true mk game comes out that it will seem new again because i really cant see where people get that mka was a bad game. especially because of create a character.
