Losing = easier?
Losing = easier?
At the moment I am playing in hard difficulty. Every session usually I lose about two or three times on the first seven combatants and three or more times on Blaze. Each time I lose, I feel that the next match is getting slightly easier. Is it true?
Another question that I have is, how many times do you guys usually lost a match in a whole session? I imagine many of you usually never loses even on max difficulty?

It is true. In my experience the matches do get (Edited) easier as you fight the combatant a second or third time.

It has always been like that, when you lose it gets easier. I think it is an arcade trick to keep you pumping in quarters. If you don't get anywhere, why would you keep pumping quarters in? Losing gets boring.

I loose alot whenever I play a new game of any sort. Makes it more fun and it let's you play the game longer....
For me, I'm not trying to just beat the game, I want to enjoy it.
MkA made "enjoying it" tough though....lol...go figure.

Wait?, So let me get this straight?, it becomes easier every time you lose?, I Thought it stayed the same.
Either way, may I have proof?

Yes it's true. I've noticed it. The more times you loose the easier the cpu gets. With Monster in MKD, it took me so many turns to kill him it was unbelievable. Then I beat him 3 times flawless after all that loosing.

I think it's more of a placebo effect. You get used to the cpu's fight pattern and find out how to beat him. Afterwards you have the placebo effect by believing that it gets easier everytime you die.

No, it does get easier to a certain point everytime you die, they do this on purpose in many games so they don't get stuck on a level for ever.

Does it get easier, or are you just adapting better? I play arcade mode sometimes and I have it on max and to be honest it's just to easy. I can tho threw arcade mode on max without losing a match, however I dont really play Blaze cause I dont want to go threw the whole, "Congradulations you've won" stuff. I quit after the top of the colume 'cause I just want to keep fighting. What they should have done, was for each level of difficutly, make the colume that much longer, like they did in the older versions. The older versions were harder in arcade mode and alot funner.

I actually agree w/ the Placebo theory. There never was any improvement in diffulty with every loss, because I always mix up my strategy. I also believe that winning is much easier, probably because you know what Blaze has in his moveset, and he's also playable.

Wow, I had no idea people played arcade in MKA?? After MKD I played arcade a few times because it was habit from MK:DA. Especially, with the release of MKA and from MKD being online as well I basically trained myself on accident as if an arcade option didn't exist. That being said I have never played arcade even once on MKA and I imagine I would get owned.

Yeah Quest, I never knew people actually played arcade long enough to even start a debate on it.
I play CPU once in a while but I always turn it off before I get to Blaze.

It sounded pretty badass so I gave it a shot and it was pretty badass. Do you know what time and station it comes on? Is it Thursday at 8:30(e)? my avatar > avatar
