They should take some pointers from Shaolin Monks. Liu's fatalities in there were fucking awesome (Shaolin Soccer,FUCK YEAH!). Actually, everyone's fatalities were awesome. Goddamn,I love that game.
if they go with older fatalities, i'd definitely say shaolin soccer. i kinda hope they add some new ones tho.
Sex is Evil, Evil is Sin, Sin is forgiven, so Sex is in.
I kill people for a living. Get over it.

Excuse my ignorance, but what is Shaolin soccer?
in shaolin monks it's a fatality where liu uppercuted their head off and did this soccer style kick that hit the head at their body and they exploded. it's a reference to the movie of the same name. check the movie out, it's rad.

Another one that could have to do with fire is some sort of huge "Dargon Chi Blast" or something.
I pretty much love his design for this game, but I'm not so sure his fatalities are gonna do the look justice.

Herro.
Kang had one in MK3 where he kind of teleports inside the opponent's and burns him/her. That one was pretty cool.
and confusing

Why is it confusing?

With the UE3, they could make a really sick looking dragon.

Yeah, I'd like to see the Dragon morph in. MK4's version was actually my favourite.
that was a memorable one. maybe this time they could animate the bottom half of the dragon too, make it more dynamic.

It's already one of the main moves during gameplay, so how did they manage to make it a fatality in the first place? What's the difference? What, he does a fuckin flip b4 the uppercut so that makes all the difference? That shit is wack. I can see if the victim went higher than they usually go in gameplay, but it's the same height. What, they hit the ground harder than they usually do? Give me a break.
If they did bring it back they would really have to do a lot more with it to show that the opponent actually died from that. Other than that, leave the shit out. If anything they should come up with something even better and stop recycling shit.
I love the Dragon one, it's classic. However I doubt that anybody will do any morphing since Shang Tsung won't. Why they refuse to give Shang his morphing powers back idk. I guess they feel like he would be unstoppable...
To be honest, I actually wouldn't mind seeing his original Mortal Kombat Fatality coming back.
Agreed. If done right, the original would be sick!

I really wouldn't mind to see his MK1 Fatality come back. Maybe call it even a Brutality instead.
I never understood in the first place why Liu Kang turned into that a brutal and rutheless murderer anyways. Shouldn't Monks value life?
I see it as almost tying into the "plot".
In MK1, Liu Kang would not take life at the tournament being the kind of monk character he was. However, the murder of his fellow monks during MK2 pushed him over the edge. I see the Dragon Fatality as a representation of his rage (and obviously another Bruce Lee homage), and his more murderous, vengeful side. The MK1 Fatality was still evident in MK2 though.
If they do bring the Dragon back (and I've sided towards that now), they should definitely make an awesome looking and ferocious chinese dragon with this new graphics engine. Also, it should have four legs this time. I've never got why it has two.
