If the subby pic is actual gameplay footage, then I guess its safe to say story mode will play like MKSM.

Jax looks like the Jax from Mortal Kombat Annihilation, which is not a good thing. That movie did more to destroy Jax's character than anything.

The only thing I'm not diggin is Raiden's Collar. It looks like he jumped right out of the 80s. Everything else looks sweet though

Seriously, I don't know what thread I posted on, but I actually stated that I wanted to see Jax traded in to make more space for other good MK characters. Wishful thinking on my part, though...it won't happen now.

I will say Raiden, my favorite, looks great. I love his look in this game A LOT. Liu Kang looks great, too. My only complaint is that I wish his facial features matched that of the person he was based on, Bruce Lee, a little more than they do. I really liked his face in Deception, zombified and humanized. Sonya...what can I say...looks FINE!

Jax, though...he's a sore spot for me in that picture. I can't stand the way he looks. It's...not very...Jax-like...I really don't know how to describe what we're all seeing here. So please, someone try to explain it better than me. As for Sub-Zero, you could take the "betrayal" thing two ways: either he betrayed everyone or someone (or everyone) betrayed him. I highly doubt everyone would just turn against him all of a sudden. It had to be a single or select few.

Jax still looks like a piece of crapola, I just do not like his face at all. But Raiden actually looks 10 times better here than he does in his render. He doesn't look old, and you can't see the bad texture job they gave him in the rendered image. You really appreciate the costumes more when you see them in game, or at least I do. And has anyone noticed the glitch? Look at Jax's dog tags. They seem to be defying gravity all by themselves. Definitely not laying against his chest.

i don't like that stupid vest they have him in either, but outside of that i have no complaints.

Does this image of the hero squad guarantee Cage's absence from the roster? Is he just going to shadow kick Kahn in the opening scene and be written out of the game?

The Sub-Zero screenshot looks bad, theres no shadow on the wall where he's climbing or anything. It looks like a copy and paste job.
