Ermac Is Cool. No ?

Please don't call me a half wit when you don't even know what really happened in the beginning of MKA intro, that wasn't ermac it was shang tsung.Notice that when Sheeva knocked out was apparently ermac...that same "Ermac" disappeared and all of a sudden he threw Quan-Chi off the pyramid remember?Then revealed that he morphed into Ermac prior to that DUHHHHHHHHHHH....don't believe me humor me....watch it again and see for yourself then explain where "ermac's" body went after laying there knocked out after sheeva grabbed him...it disappeared then the next thing you know Ermac throws Quan off then morphs into Shang Tsung(himself) POSING as Ermac...the real Ermac wasn't near the pyramid at the time.

I suggest you break down the facts better next time.

Ermac is a million times more popular then Sindel, anyone who thinks different needs a reality check.

I'm been saying that Sindel sucks versus Ermac ever since Deception, moron. I KNOW she's not a top star. Niether is Ermac.

Sindel WAS a star back around MK3.

The only thing I've been saying Sindel has better than Ermac nowadays are her radiant looks (I know, my opinion) and her special powers (manipulating super sonic waves vs. Ermac's moderate-strength telekinesis).

He should come back in the next mk helping the earth warriors like he did in MKD.

THen it was Ms. Queen Sindel (The Bitch) vs. all of Ermac's Fans
Then, it came back to being about Ermac again....

That was fun while it lasted...

Anywho, Ermac defeats Sindel, hands down, no contest. Even it Sindel was in the air in UMK3, Ermac could just tele-slam her, cant he?

Ermac would make a pretty cool new theme for MKO.

Ermac is probably my top ninja right now. It's really a fight between him and Noob Saibot with the Brotherhood of the shadow. The re-design was crazy in MkD.

Mostly what I like is his potential though. I think now that he's aligned with "good", he should be the next ruler of a realm or the next God type character. Maybe even replace Shinnok for cosmic powers. That's a stretch though.

About his powers, I know he's got the telekenisis and all, but I always wondered what his character would look like controlling the souls that make him up. Maybe like the "Army of Hades" from God of war.

Another thing about his moves could be to further his telekenisis by creating specials that are more convincing. What I mean is, in movies and so on, strain of the mind is always and really only depicted through facial expressions....maybe simple motions of the hands and or arms. I wanna be able to visually feel the telekenisis from here on out if he is to return.

What about a combination between Shang Tsungs spritiual control, and Raidens' elemental control? Sounds pretty cool to me.

Yeah man, Ermac is awesome such a great character.I agree and see what you're saying hopefully in MK8 or MK9 or something we'll see Ermac spew out souls literally in his moves.That would own.

thx man. pleasure to be here. And its true aint it? Ermac tele-slams Sindel while she's letting herself be vulerable by being up there. Furthermore, if u do a special (ie. Liu Kang's Bike Kick) while the other guy is in the air, would he sustain MORE damage than normal?

Ermac, is awesome.

His special moves are versatile and visually appealing, but I find that he is one of the normal characters that seems to have extremely slowly walking speed. Though this can be remedied with his telekinetic powers, the enemy can generally see it coming if you're at mid-range.

Love the character's personality, powers, and voice(s?). I think it sucks, however, that they gave Kenshi (and Shujinko!) his Telekinetic Slam.

Yeah man in the newer 3D MK's you do sustain more damage if you're caught in the air, great point I forgot about that actually earlier.Any move that takes you out in the air or can snuff you out of the air is always a good edge to use.

What do you guys make of that MkA Ermac vid in the krypt?

Was there any explaination for it? Any speculation or just pure " for the hell of it" entertainment?

Yeah man, that vid was just in there I think to remind fans of what Ermac is now about and what he stands for as well as entertainment.

I'm surprised fans didn't complain about "why is Ermac the only one with a video like that" in MKA? lol

I liked it though.

Ermac is my all-time favorite, and always will be. Throughout my old MK Tournament threads, Ermac was Top 5, so yes, he's among the most popular characters. It was nice to see him turn good for MKD, but they didn't really develop it enough. Taking Kenshi in was a nice touch though. Hopefully he sticks around for the future games.

Yeah man, Ermac's storyline got much better IMO. I felt it was developed enough personally. The Kenshi spin was a nice touch and makes perfect sense given they both use TK, Ermac made him better.

I too hope he returns in MK8, personally I think his role is just as important if not more then his ninja counterparts.
