well mate, they did fix hotarus haviks, kenshis and quans infinites in the wii version. but thats still no excuse. in fact, kenshis infinite was only fixed for player 1. player 2 can still do it. they also fixed bo rai chos infinite the same way, but they didnt even touch ermacs, kabals, raidens and sonyas on either side. and they knew about ermacs infinite from the information that was given to them. they also attempted to fix jades infinite, but all they did was add the ability to rollout from it.
the only reason its still not a infinite is because jades stances are too slow to walk in fast enough to throw again. khameleons weapon moves in very fast, and is indeed still a infinite. so how much time and effort are they really putting into? nothing else was fixed besides daegons free throw (quans)
and its so much worse then just the infinites/free throws etc. walking up to someone and throwing them and you duck before you get thrown and still get thrown? cmon. and player 1 and player 2 programming? this is just ridiculous! that ultimatly made online unplayable due to player 1 being able to sidestep/have camera advantage while player 2 is left in the cold. and it runs so much deeper then that.
so if youre going to say that fixing online play isnt important, then you got it all wrong, because thats where all the diehard fans such as myself, who love mk more then you could imagine and want the game to play good are...
as dan said, they were given the information. almost all of it. malone asked them about the player 2 glitch and they said they knew nothing about it. so what a difference a simple person ( myself ) could of made to the games CORE programming, let alone "glitches" and infinites that were found the first time after picking a character, and having a second controller to test shit.
but as ive said the past before, its not just me, its the whole community that makes the difference. but im sure if they could pick anyone to do the job, it would be me.

^^^ yet again, a glitch passed down from MKDA. ( not the impale, but the way the glitch is done in the first place since its universal for all characters, just for some sick twisted reason, subzero has this)
other infinites would include meats throw in the corner repeated. his bf 3 off the wall repeated: a infinite passed down from mkd with baraka. chameleon has one of the same.
shinnoks projectile free throw infinite in the corner. any character with ashrahs 111 air combo in first stance in the corner. any character with shang tsungs 332 air combo in the corner. any character with jades 111 air combo in the corner.
wall otgs, free throws, air otgs infinites ( 112cs1 with sareena, kitana, and li mei )
even the alternate costume your character is wearing is programmed different with infinites! sub zeros alternate costume 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1 in air. not to mention it only works for player 2!
the list goes on. and instead of them ever reaching out to the person who finds it, they ignore me and everything ive done. i never let it stop me, in hopes of one day, someone would be able to ask them the question: " why not get Check to test your games? "

Need the link..there's a couple relative threads over there. And I don't see his post in the main//biggest "question thread".
Malone even took a picture of him handing the cd and paperwork to one of the MK team guys at E3 last year.
Other fighting games have glitches and stuff true BUT nothing to the extent of MKD and MKA.
if MKA and MKD is the best that Hector can do then ED BOON needs to find a new game tester.

I can understand the frustration, but Hector did talk with sincerity and with what I found to be plain honesty about his work and the love he has for his work.

On the contrary, how do you know exactly that they "ignored" the CD? I don't believe they ignored it, I believe they did their best given the time they had. You have to realize Midway gives MK team a TIME FRAME. Meaning, the game has to be done at that time, finished or not, thus why some games have patches....that's what Midway needs to do since they don't give their MK team enough time to address everything. I highly doubt that they ignored like you say plus the fact that they DID indeed fix a lot of shit that was wrong, glitchy in MKD. Fact.
However, to be fair 's also true that MKA has it's own set of problems, but still everyone that knows anything about gameplay knows that MKA is WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYy more playable then MKD anyday. Malone and Check have both said this several times, while some MK players still believe MKD is better...ha, ha yeah right. I think they addressed a lot of shit personally, Smoke is crap in MKA compared to MKD and his throw IMO is too toned down. At times you can't even combo off of it, while other times you can. In MKD you could always combo off of it. And that was one of the BIGGEST complaints about MKD, Smoke's many easy infinites...They fixed a lot of the plants, but there are still some in the game, quan, Hotaru etc. Still, not NEARLY as bad as MKDs......
The AC takes a decent amount of skill....more then MKD's easy glitches anyway, as for fighting games as someone else said and I believe you said it too. Every fighter has a few infinites, glitches etc. I mean hell, most people don't even realize that MVC2 has lots of infinites, Malone also posted a thread concerning every fighter BESIDES MK that has issues....yet some people act as if "it's just MK, ha, ha" No fighter is perfect, Tekken, MK, SF anything....even SSBB has a few infinites.
If a game is not done, you shouldn't release it. What good developers do is delay the game until it is done. Nintendo does that all the time for its game. Quoting Shigeru Miyamoto, the GODFATHER of good video games, "Delaying a game is the best news a player can hear" because it means the game is only going to get better during that time frame. They delayed Smash Bros. Brawl upwards of three or four times, Zelda more times than I can count.
So, really, if the game needs more development time to be a playable, non-broken game, it should be delayed. Yes, there is still a deadline, but if it CAN'T meet that deadline and be a good game, don't release it. Yet Midway knows that even a broken MK game will sell well, so they don't care and they'll release it broken and glitchy anyway under the excuse that "every game has glitches", but GOOD games have very FEW glitches.
So, really, if the game needs more development time to be a playable, non-broken game, it should be delayed. On the contrary, how do you know exactly that they "ignored" the CD? I don't believe they ignored it, I believe they did their best given the time they had. A/C is very easy to do, just cause you may think its hard, it isnt if i can do it any one can.

MKF, the infinites in SSBB are legal in tournament play. There are only a few, but they are legal.

I can understand the frustration, but Hector did talk with sincerity and with what I found to be plain honesty about his work and the love he has for his work.

as a matter of fact they clearly ignored the CD that malone made w/ the glitches from MKD and kept 50% of those glitches in MKA. they clearly showed that they dont really care about the fans of the fighting part of the game.

On the contrary, how do you know exactly that they "ignored" the CD? I don't believe they ignored it, I believe they did their best given the time they had. You have to realize Midway gives MK team a TIME FRAME. Meaning, the game has to be done at that time, finished or not, thus why some games have patches....that's what Midway needs to do since they don't give their MK team enough time to address everything. I highly doubt that they ignored like you say plus the fact that they DID indeed fix a lot of shit that was wrong, glitchy in MKD. Fact.
However, to be fair 's also true that MKA has it's own set of problems, but still everyone that knows anything about gameplay knows that MKA is WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYy more playable then MKD anyday. Malone and Check have both said this several times, while some MK players still believe MKD is better...ha, ha yeah right. I think they addressed a lot of shit personally, Smoke is crap in MKA compared to MKD and his throw IMO is too toned down. At times you can't even combo off of it, while other times you can. In MKD you could always combo off of it. And that was one of the BIGGEST complaints about MKD, Smoke's many easy infinites...They fixed a lot of the plants, but there are still some in the game, quan, Hotaru etc. Still, not NEARLY as bad as MKDs......
The AC takes a decent amount of skill....more then MKD's easy glitches anyway, as for fighting games as someone else said and I believe you said it too. Every fighter has a few infinites, glitches etc. I mean hell, most people don't even realize that MVC2 has lots of infinites, Malone also posted a thread concerning every fighter BESIDES MK that has issues....yet some people act as if "it's just MK, ha, ha" No fighter is perfect, Tekken, MK, SF anything....even SSBB has a few infinites.

As far as AC being easy or hard, you misread what I said. Point is, Tekken isn't perfect either and is way the fuck overrated if you ask me with "such a great game" if that's the case then answer this, why is it on this side of the world Tekken isn't "as worshiped" as it is in Asia/Japan? They were the LAST fighter to go online because of "how against online competition" they were...yet they looked foolish seeing every other company going online. I don't care, he still has his projectile and it works good enough. Sareena is definitely super broken with her knives I agree. They have had good testers, I like Paul Garcia and the people they used to have back in the day MK2, UMK3 and MK:DA were done well. Don't care what anyone says, because they're playable and can be played at high level. Even MKA can, at least a lot more then MKD. But like I said, it all comes down to Midway needing to give their testers more time and hire more.

Though, I doubt it's an infinite, you could easily tech out of an enemies attack if they're comboing you into a wall. The friend I'm referring to plays SSBB online at high level, not my friends I play with offline personally. He tech rolls, sheild etc and can't get out of it. If we play sometime, or once I get a wii we will all play you, me and him and let him do it to you, you'll see.

And Brawl definately has more infinites that Melee, and is the least balanced of the three, but still, it's fun because it's not broken. I can play as a bottom tier charcter, and take out top tier characters (which I do, Yoshi ftw!) But in MKA, that's pretty tough to do.

Melee is more competitive they say right? I'm not an expert with SSB games but know basic knowledge about them, Melee was fun too. I do think as far as character changes, they did Pika better in Brawl, I think he plays better in Brawl then Melee personally. Yeah, you're right MKA it is difficult to win but not impossible hehe I've done it with Fujin against characters like Drahmin, Noob, Scorp online. Hard as HELL but very possible, just takes patience, smarts and being good with that particular character.
As for MVC being more fun then MKA, matter of opinion. lol I like MKA more personally because it's my preference, some players will always like one fighter over another. I know this one guy that hates SSB, loves SC over everything else, another guy that loves SF over anything else, etc so in that sense definitely matter of preference. Anywho, I just pmed you responding to your question man :)

they fixed what they could, the game was unfixable at that point, with check finding the implae in mka shows that the overall engine is the same for all 3 games, for them to fix it they would have to rewrite the whole script, remember midway has alwasy build there games from scratch, not the case in mkdc, so u will just have to wait and see.
all they have to do was make throws blockable or escapable in the first 4 frames, and fts would not exist.

she is actually better in MKA then in MKD.
in MKD she was a bottom low tier due to her throw being retarded. you clearly have no clue, so watch the video of the shit i had to deal w/ playing as SINDEL in MKD AND MKA. start at the 1:38 time.

im talking about a throw. when some one throws another person, the thrower should not be punished. throwing prevents some one from over defending and counter attacking. its an unblockable moves that forces players to have to duck or move. throws are important to have in fighting games.
SINDEL HAD NO REAL 50/50 game in MKD AND MKA because of her throw. 3D MK is all about 50/50.
