Yeah, probaly not accurate, but from what I've seen online, this is how I see it. Anyways, it's way too early to talk about tier lists or anything.

Also, for people that don't know what a tier list, it's basically a list of characters from the best to the worst in terms of gameplay. The characters with the best tools to use to win the match are at the top, and the characters with barely anything going for them are at the bottom.

lol, Vash, I think I know why you have those five at top. They're the most common characters you see online.

well I play Catwoman and feel like she must be bottom 3. Just terrible. But I'm starting to mess with Luthor and he has potential. b+3 looks like a good low, 111 is a mid jab string that combos with sumo punches. Why do you guys think hes bad?

Haven't played too many Luthors, but the ones I've played were complete garbage. So I didn't really know what to make of him, so I jsut placed him in low.

And does everyone think Flash is top tier? I don't think there's anyone better than him atm

Darkseid, Flash, & Raiden, Batman? & Scorpion? Are all top, or near.

Top for me, or, the ones I have the most resistance from are:

Others that I've found have really good potential from playing with:

7. Kano (Sub-Man, I disagree. Kano is dope. Has one of the best combo strings I've seen in this game, and has the only actual parry. Everyone needs a parry like his. Beware of his sweep though.)

11. Sonya Blade
12. Green Lantern
13. Cap Marvel.
14. The Joker
15. Liu Kang

Ones I look at as the weakest, or have rarely seen:

Haven't seen anyone, nor have I really toyed around with Shao Kahn, or Darkseid so I can't say for them.

Okay, that's not exactly a tier list from me, but I know that Wonder Woman is terrible. Catwoman is not far behind, but I seen more potential from her than from WW. I've seen some good stuff from one or two Lex Luthors, and Jax even moreso than Lex. But those have got to be the worse ones I've seen online, played with, or experienced overall.

Other than that, Raiden did well in this game's mechanic, so I'm happy about that. Allowing him to charge his lightning strikes is excellent and I hope it sticks around. I also wish they would give him more different types of moves, but that's from a fan standpoint.

It's too early to do this. That is evident by the fact that a lot of these lists are inaccurate because the poster has little/no experience playing against certain characters. Liu Kang below the Joker Predator? Come on. lol Also, WW is only terrible if you don't know how to use her properly. She is easily one of the best characters up close/mid range. Shang Tsung and Baraka above Superman? Absolutely not. lol Kitana is not top tier.

I don't really have enough experience with a few characters like Kano to make a list of my own. Vash's seems pretty close to me. The groupings seem right, but the order in them could be changed. Again, I don't know enough about Kano, the bosses and I've yet to find a good Luthor or Jax.

Flash's moves may be quick and multi-hit, but usually don't do more damage, which results in the opponent's rage meter being quickly filled with no real payback

Flash has quite a few 35-40% combos. I don't think he's lacking in damage in the least. And from my experience, his rage meter always builds faster than mine.

er, it's not just that. Flash has alot of combo potential, reliable, safe hits, and the best moves imo in the game.

I disagree, I find that although he's easily ONE of the best, he's not THE best. However, I WILL say he's the best for beginners to pick up and play

Wow, Kano is on allot of the low tiers. I gotta disagree with that one. His cannonball does allot of damage for the speed of it. And the parry is VERY usefull (online not agianst AI.)

Kano is mid-high tier for me.

I would like to re evaluate the tier list now that the game ahs been out for a while. Also, in the placings, i placed while disregarding the infinites, and made AVERAGING the online metagame

Kano is Mid tier.

I find this whole list to be unaccurate. Sub-Zero is NOT a mid-tier. Raiden is NOT a low Tier as well as the Joker in the "mid" low tier.

there is no way Raiden is in any lower tiers. if used correctly he is virtually unstoppable.

Superman, Green Lantern, Flash, Raiden are your top tiers.

Baraka is definately not low tier. Why would Raiden be high tier?

his teleports are very unpredictable due to the fact that he can do 2 in a row. also, you can go right into an uppercut, grab, low grab, or even a combo right after a teleport. so you duck and think that you can catch him off guard by uppercutting him after he teleports, he can duck grab you.

sometimes when i play as him, i like to teleport randomly just to throw off my opponent.

also, i've gotten a 50% plus combo with him in rage mode. its also flippin easy to charge up his rage by doing his teleport pro move alot.

another point is that you can torpedo the opponent into the edge of the screen, then you can do his void blast which is unavoidable if charged. no matter how the opponent gets up, he will alwasy be hit by it.

his electric grab special can also be used as a pro move multiple times which can be used to get an easy 30% plus combo

you just have to know how to use him

My best character is Lex Luthor and I have a high win percentage with him. He definitely isn't low-tier. I got 25 wins in a row with him too.
