MKA. I don't play online, as I actually have friends and don't like morons that talk tough from hundreds of miles away, so I'm not the person to ask about whether online is any good or not. I don't like the fact that we only get one minigame, though.
Oh, and I refuse to play a game that goes goes backwards (quasi-2D) and has as uninspired a roster as MK vs DC.

MK vs. DC but MKA is fun, however...FTR MKA wasn't the worst MK game of all time if you break it down and compare it to MKD and MK4...if anything MKD or MK4 was realistically.
People that know gameplay will know this.....
Now if you want to talk presentation, extra modes, costumes etc then to each his own.

MKVSDC was rented for like five days and I played Soul Calibur during a few of them.

I got to play as my favorite characters and it felt more......Mortal Kombatey if that makes any sense. The Fmv at the beginning of MKA did more to set the mood for me then all of story mode in MKvDC.

For gameplay - MkvsDc
For Konquest, KAKharacter, and for it being a MK only game - MkA
I think I fall on the side of MKA. I got more play out of that game. Which is still kinda weird, cuz that game was pretty bad overall.

While MK:A holds a special place in my heart, I can't overlook that it was a rushed, lazily thrown together heap of shit. XD I prefer the freedom that MK vs DC offers in regards to combos. The effects are a definate plus as well.

General feel of recovery for the attacker and defender seems much better.
Special moves being used within combos.
Running
Throw escape
Low throw
The more interactive concept of close combat, but not how it was made. I'd rather have that sort of idea work as a replacement for a standard throw escape, like you see in VF and Tekken. Some flashy animation to escape the throw that can lead in to counter moves.
Aerial combat like the 2D games
Pro moves
How the breakers work with the meter. I don't like rage disabling hit reactions. It just makes the opponent run away, messing up the flow of a battle.

Design of walking, back dash and side step. Add the run from MK/DC
The Parry, but I'd like a more subtle look for it. The parry used in close combat for MK/DC would be good.

The lack of defined martial arts in MK/DC works fine.
The characters using real martial arts in MKDA to MKA looked too fake or acted out. It didn't seem very natural like in other fighting games. It was mainly the fighting stances. The ones in MK/DC aren't much better, but look more natural.

I can live without either of them honestly...and do not take that as bashing.I did not like Mk:A and i've lost interest in mk vs dc.Just how I feel about it.

I prefer it because i forked over the extra dough on the release date to get my hands on the Premium Edition, which had the best parts of the game (UMK3 and the extra disc w/ the (almost)bio kards)
