So I find out that my roommate has stolen two air fresheners from me and threw them out.
I filed a theft report in triplicate, but they say that they really can't do much since I don't have evidence to directly link him to it.
Ugh, seriously? The things were stolen. As in taken away from me while I wasn't there. All I have are the receipt and uh, THE EMPTY SPACE ON MY FUCKIN' SHELF.
Tch. I'm not mad over what he stole (easily replaceable), but I'm mad at the fact THAT he stole. I've never touched his shit before. Asshole.

But it's okay, though.
After they were stolen, I found out he has terrible allergies (his motive).
He went home for the three day weekend on Friday and since then I've bought a lot of new air freshener (LIKE A FUCKIN' MISSILE BATTERY OF AIR FRESHENER!!!) and put them in a special place with a long, ranting note he'll find if he ever tries this shit again.
I also plan to use said air freshener EVERY FUCKIN' DAY to agitate him.
And the coup-de-grace, he left his allergy medication here over the weekend! His important, expensive-looking medication that needs to be kept cold. Don't you know that shit's been sitting over the heater since he left?

@Jaded, the guy should've definitely talked with you about the air-fresheners before throwing them, but he does have allergies, so it might be best to discuss the issue civilly instead of making it an all-out war. What do you need the fresheners for?

I gave him a chance to confess. When I noticed they were missing, I asked him if he "saw them around." He said no. He stole from me, then lied about it. The fact that he lied shows he's trying to hide it and that he isn't interested in discussing the situation openly or honestly.
I generally have an air freshener handy to lightly spray my bedsheets with in the morning, so they don't have that musty sleep smell.

I've been listening to Chinese Democracy almost all weekend and it is great. My favourite tracks are Chinese Democracy, Shackler's Revenge and Better.
