You're probably right, dont know why I said we "need" any. I just don't think it was right that Casselman was given the role when there were other more deserving members, and then he totally shows zero responsibility.

On another note, I was just asked to Cyber with someone called Sean.

But is he actually inactive? From my understanding the primary role of SP's is to dish out the skull/dragon points and to also inform mods of threads that need closing. Neither of which requires the SP to post.

Also whos to say he's not on holiday/ill/can't get internet access, to do his sub-modding duties right now. Hardly an excuse I know but still possible.

Well I don't really know since I rarely venture out of General Discussion. But if he is failing in his duties he'll get demoted sooner or later.

I also find it interesting how none of the staff have come to defend him, when usually they stick up for each other.

Lucky dude. Here in Canada we got a pretty bad winter storm. I looked out the window this morning rite before I was gunna go to school and just said fuck that and took off my uniform.

LOL,here in Pennsylvania its just started to get 2O degrees and below,and it still hasnt snowed.We only had flurries twice this year and they only lasted like 10 minutes.

If the mods want to demote him, that will be their job. I think they get that we dont think he has been doing a good job, we should just leave it in their hands.

This'll be the last thing I say on the Casselman subject.

The point for me is not that he isn't showing responsibility and that's he never around, it's that he shouldn't have been given the damn position in the first place. You guys should know who I thought deserved it the most, and that person should have been promoted, low visit count or not. Whatever the case, we'll have to wait who knows how long until they kick Casselman's lazy ass off the position, and then we'll be down 2 SPs until they decide that there is a "need" for another one (or two)... And mark my words, mods, you'll hear from me again if the right choice isn't made.

When I read what you said about Pred being a good choice for a SP, it made me think why isnt tgrant one yet? I mean he has been a PG from time to time, and I think that he would be a great mod/sub-mod, as I'm sure everyone else does too. If for some reason he doesn't want the position though, I think you would be a good candidate.

Yeah... a little hypocritical coming from the guy who just posted that we should leave it in the mods hands, but whatever.

Pred, in my mind, is far and away the best choice right now. If anyone wants me to justify this I will in another post, as I'm too lazy to type it now.

tgrant I'm not sure about (whether he wants it again that is). Guess you'd have to ask him yourself .

But yea, it's going to be a while before we see another promotion here, whether it's Pred, you, me, or someone else. Here's hoping I stick around long enough.
