I don't enjoy being on this website anymore. The dislike and hatred that dwells here simply isn't to my liking at all.

Bah. Lost ten pounds, but gained four back.

I do have something to say. I am absolutely disgusted with the dislike and hatred that assholes on this site release when they post, too. However, despite that; I really don't give a shit about them. Because even though there will always be some dumbasses and assholes around, I love this place...outside of the n00bs/flamers/spammers/assholes/etc., I remember this place for having some of the best friends I could ever have, I have made some of the best friends over at this site. And God bless your souls to all the people who are my friends, I love you people and you are all awesome. Still, I do wish for the hate that occurs on here to disappear.

Memories of this site just aren't enough to keep me coming back here anymore. I'd like it if they were, but they just aren't. Nothing fun every goes on here, and every time I post I almost feel like someone notices and hates the fact I actually bothered posting anything at all.

Only he's not leaving. Just staying around because he's a Staff member. Similar to my reasons for staying as well, because I'm a mod. Unlike Crow, however, I'll still be posting and chit chatting with you guys from time to time.

Yea, that's why I said pre-retirement. Before they "left" we'd see them post like... once or twice a week. As much as I've come to hate the site, I'm not going anywhere because of the friends I've made and my SP status.

I understand what you mean, but you really shouldn't let all the negativity get to you. I know it's not pleasant to be in an environment (whether it's an online community or any "real-world" setting) full of hostility, but at the same time it's not like that's all you find there. I, too, have seen what you and others mean by the "negative aspects" of Mortal Kombat Online, but I personally believe that the positives far outweigh them. Those are the ones that made me join the site after a long time of merely being a guest, and they're also the ones that'll keep me here for a while.
