That last comment is extremely untrue. Yes, he did get some attention with the first Foo record because people wanted to hear 'the drummer from Nirvana'. But that record didn't even sell that much. He's famous because he can write amazing pop/rock songs. Which is shown with all the albums they sold over the past 12 years. There's a shitload of Foo fans who don't even know about his former bands.


A lot of people think you have shit taste in music too. Guess what, everyone's opinion is different. Yours is not greater than anyone elses by far. So please stop acting like you're God's gift to the music industry. It's certainly not the like the Foo Fighters have done anything to shake up Billboard lately. So get over it. This is just cluttering up the Drive By so this side conversation ends now. You've both made your points. Youve both wasted far too much time and energy on this conversation. Continue it in PM because I'm sick of reading it and I'm sure most everyone else is also.


True, and the ONLY reason i brought up that other stuff was to change the subject. Talking about music will probably get this closed.

You are getting on my last nerve and I've about had it with your high and mighty attitude. You come here and think you are so much better than everyone else and you can do and say whatever you want. Well I've got news for you, that's not the case. You're no better than anyone else here and you need to get that attitude in check because that kind of persona will get you absolutely nowhere in life. I pray that for your sake you figure out whatever the Hell it is that you need to figure out in order for you to get your damn head on straight. He wouldn't be banned because he has a different taste, he'd be banned because, as you just said, he can be an asshole. There are other members who are assholes in this community as well (heck, I got called one on a regular basis by the majority of newbies and I'm sure other members think it as well), but he's walking a thin line, and has been for some time, so I agree with PR that he should cool down.

He hasn't doen anything wrong. He's an asshole to me to. Just cause someone takes in offense doesn't mean he shouldn't be able to state his oppinion. No matter how mean it is. Just like this:

Tgrant, i have never like you, never will, and don't know why. you have always been an asshole to me, so i'm gonna do the same to you.

there. it probably didn't hurt his feelings. but it was kinda mean. that doesn't mean you should ban him.

Freedom of speech is something thats dying, and now your trying to silence it over the internet. What next, you gonna make me stop listening to music?

I guess that just like sex, drugs, and Rock n' roll, freedom of speech is gone, too. Even over a place were words can't hurt

While I agree with you on your points, freedom of speech does not apply because this is a privately owned and opperated site. They can sensor anything they want. Not to mention the fact that no mod ever said they were going to ban him, JaredJayrod just brought that up out of nowhere. He was skulled for refusing to relent, it is over. Let's move on now.
