I think a Greek Mythology fighting game would be epic! (don't hold spelling against me here)

Zues
Poisidon
Hades
Ares
Hera
Athena
Apollo
Hermes
Thanatos
Hercules
The Minotaur
Charon
Perseus
Theseus
Medusa
Achilles
Icarus
A Centaur character
A Satyr character (erect penis optional)

Boses could be the Kraken, Cerebus and many of the other big creature from Greek mythology

I know most if not all of these characters have been murderd by Kratos at one point or another but fresh depictions of the characters would be nice!

Dionysus
Demeter
Artemis
Hypno
Hepheastus
Asclepius

Just wanted to throw out some more folks you could use.

For the record, Kratos in Greek mythology is nothing more than the personification of strength.

Cratos If i'm not mistake? and I know I was referring to Kratos from the God of War series.

Please forgive me if my post sounded rude, I was not my intention.

Is your game related to the God of War series?

Lol don't sweat it dude, Your reputation proceeds you!

and No not really my intention to relate them to the god of war series, original interpretations of the Gods would be nice! plus I couldn't picture God of wars Perseus, Theseus or Icarus being in a fighting game haha.

I'm kidding. I know that isn't exactly what it's about, bu it's kind of close.

Actually, that's exactly what it's about, and yeah, I was referring to Thrill Kill. :P

I actually have a TK fansite - http://thrillkill.fdmk.net

I also made a mobile version. Why? I have no idea. I was bored, I guess.

Crow, except after the first found he would transform into True Crow (who would be a hybrid of a WoW boss and a crow).
I'd be a secret boss. *

~Crow~ would evolve into a true Angry BirdTM after the first won round.

* Bezou would be a secret boss only in the Game Boy version though.

A certain skit from Robot Chicken, not to mention a funny question from Family Feud, reminded me of what would be an awesome and fun fighing game...

Office Wars!

I know it sounds weird, but when you really think about it, imagine all the stuff that's in an office that you could do serious damage with:

Stapler
Staple Gun
Hole Puncher
Cabinet Shelf
Metal Waste Basket
Pens
Sharp Pencils
Paper! (paper cuts hurt like hell, and pose high potential for infection)
Printer
Photo Copier
Letter Opener
Scissors
Cord Phone
Computer (if you're that damn mad)
Swivel Chairs
Metal Picture Frames (use 'em like ninja stars lol)
Staple Remover
Thumb Tacs
Rulers
Yard Sticks
Presentation Pointers
Presenation Laser Pointers

And of course, you can never forget the all mighty table. Yay!

The first game could have about ten characters, each with their own office weapon, and the boss - literally, ha! - could use the blade of a paper cutter, like that guy from The Faculty.

That game would be SO sweet!

Watching the season 5 finale of Robot Chicken (over and over and over) got me thinking of a fighting game that should have already been made.

Robot Chicken Fight-Off! Yay!

In the finale's final scene Robot Chicken duked it out with many well-known characters from the series, to rescue his wife, and the way the scene was composed was in the likeness of a fighting game's battle plan. Robot Chicken continuously ran up a flight of stairs, fighting a different character on each floor.

Each floor was themed for that character, and each character even had their own intro quote. It was perfect, all that was missing was a game controller.

I took the liberty of putting together a roster of characters I think would go well with this game, most of which were characters Robot Chicken fought in the finale. Check it out!

1. Robot Chicken
2. Robeast
3. Negative Wonder Woman
4. Maximum Douche
5. Mad Dentist (real name I can't remember)
6. Joey Fatone
7. Killer Chicken
8. Six Million Peso Man
9. Unicorn
10. Gummy Bear
11. Little Drummer Boy
12. Humping Robot
13. Composite Santa Claus
14. Bitch Puddin'
15. Yeast Monster
16. Nerd
17. Señor Clean
18. Voltron
19. Strawberry Shortcake
20. Jesus

Boss: Mad Scientist

Why hasn't this been made!?

I have had an idea for a fighting game . . . and I have two names to consider:
- - - -
Ora (Coming from Oracle in Japanese - Orakuru) . . . or . . .
Ultimate Smash (Sounds kind of kiddish, but whatever)
- - - -
Characters: 18:
+DLC = 22

Nate (M), Elesa (F), Hutt (M), Mite (M), Max (M), Lau (M), Ramona (F), Marlon (M), Him (M), C. Ana (F), Maria (F), Rosa (F), i (M), Quan (M), Zues (M), Bianca (F), Butterfly (F), Xaui (F)

+DLC = Cuanna (F), Ylena (F), Posihk (M), Junko (F)

Some of these names came from existing games:
Pokemon - Nate, Elesa, Max, Lau, Marlon, Rosa, Bianca, Junko
Street Fighter - C. Ana, Posihk, Ylena
Greek Mythology - Zeus
Mortal Kombat - Quan, Butterfly
Tekken - Xaui
Ones I made - Hutt, Mite, Ramona, Him, Maria, i, Cuanna
- - - -
Camera angles: Same as Street Fighter X Tekken
- - - -
Arenas: I'll make some . . .
- - - -
Platformes: Xbox360, PS3, Nintendo DS, Nintendo 3DS, Oh yah-oldschool Gameboy Colour!
- - - -
I have an idea for another game, but it is not a fighting game: The Adventures of Dean and Buffin (C)

I've had an idea for a fighting game brewing in my head for a while... Then I stumbled upon this magical thread!

It would take place during a 'technological renaissance' time period where weapons/machinery are between primitive and modern, just because this time period would have the most flexibility as far as aesthetic and fighting styles goes, I think. I've always pictured it having very open arenas, huge ones... The kind of arena you could play hide n' seek in, heh... I had this idea that when the players got close to each other, there would only be one camera, but if they get too far apart it goes to split screen so each can act independently. At that point, each character has different ways they can interact with their surroundings, such as some being good climbers, others being able to run faster, some being better swimmers, etc... There would definitely be underwater combat, heh. All of this would be figured in to how good the character is as well, with their environmental/athletic skills being balanced just like attacks would.

I've had a few ideas for characters, but nothing too developed.

Sounds like The Hunger Games, which is a good thing, imo.

While the both book and movie are great, not having it as a full-on fighting game/RPG just seems like a waste of creativity.

Ever since i started getting nostalgic about Power Rangers, and watching videos on youtube and such; i've been thinking that a martial - arts style game centered around the incredibly talented and funny Jason David Frank would be a phenominal idea.

or maybe (as unfeasable this idea is i still like it) as a guest fighter in a an existing game like MK. I'd like to see him morph into the Green ranger, summon Dragonzord and have its giant foot squish the opponent - FATALITY! lol.

JDF - wooh!!

Didn't read everything so, apologies if I'm jacking someone. Anywho...

• My fighting game would be similar to MK as a whole series. I liked the realism from the first games, the allure, and mythos. So that'd have to be in there in the form of intriguing story, intelligent story telling, mythology (or some sensible bastardization of a collection of different mythologies), and forward thinking.

• Because I value a good story, and I loved the idea of playing through MKD's story mode with Shujinko, I'd want to have a sandbox-type, open world sort of story mode for the game. It's always made a lot of sense to me to be able to explore the world I was playing on only pieces of (arenas have always been such a limited playing experience to me).

I never really appreciate a story mode that forces you to do anything. Particularly that meticulously ensures you will battle with fighter a,b, or c just to get to the end...or that requires you to go through a deliberate step-by-step or "tunnel-vision" sort of playing experience. I'd stay as far away from that as possible.

• I'd pick characteristics from people around me and from off of MKO to create the personalities, powers, back-stories, sub-plots and so on. I remember at one point there was an effort going on where we were actually doing this with M.U.G.E.N. but, sadly it didn't get completed. I was happy to see the progress that was made, however.

• Just like anyone else, I liked MK9 a lot for the fighting capabilities so, I 'd go in a similar direction.

How about fighting games like...

Fighting game 1:
- Fighters wearing armor
- Its based on Iron Man & Medabots
- The winner wins the opponent's armor part.
- Customize your armor

Fighting game 2:
- Capcom should make a weapon-based fighting game
- Something to rival Soulcalibur. (Soulcalibur involves the two soul swords (Edge & Calibur), Tekken involves the devil gene & Street fighter involves the satsui no hadou & Darkstalkers involves, well.... the night!).

Well, for starters, I'll say that as a nerd, I have thought about this. And as a mega nerd with ohter mega nerd friends, I'm sure that one day, if we tried, we could pull off our own game (of course, it won't be this, but this is my current inspiration, and I could build off of it with my MKO KaK Future entry possibilities.) But my DREAM game would be so different, with the following elements;

As for gameplay, it would have a sort of Smash Bros. feel, but would still retain the MK and Street Fighter style gameplay, like special button inputs for special moves, nd would be slower. Kind of like a Dissidia Final Fantasy, but on a 2-D fighting plane. And stages not absolutely rediculous in size, like New Pork City and Temple. The game would take some elements from many games and combine them into one, but still use original elements. For finishers, you won't have special inputs or anything, but rather have the character do something to finish the match, like having MK characters do a Fatality while a DC Hero would do something like put the enemy in handcuffs, and a Soul Calibur character would do something like a taunt to finish the match.

As for characters, it would, like many of these, be a major crossover between various series. Some included would be;
Mortal Kombat
Street Fighter
Final Fantasy/ Kingdom Hearts
DC Comics (Injustice timeline)
Soul Calibur
Each system would have a few exclusive characters;
- Playstation(Sony); Kratos and Nathan Drake
- X-Box(Microsoft); Master Chief and Marcus Fenix
- Nintendo; Mario and Link

As for plot, it would also be similar to Dissidia, in that many worlds are pulled into 1, where they all have to work together or against each other to help in each side's goal, with some people doing their own thing in the middle. The Elder Gods would definately play a major role in the Good side's motives with other things like the Keyblade, Soul Calibur, and that stuff. Trigon, Soul Edge, and other Keyblades would also play parts in the side of Evil.

Finally, the Arcade mode would be a classic arcade ladder, but special characters for each fighter set to battle, but randomly set, with a possible 3 final bosses- Trigon wielding Soul Edge for people on the side of Good, and Raiden with the Elder Gods wielding Soul Calibur for the side of Evil (Marked Trigon*"and "Raiden*") The other possibility is the Heartless of the character themself, as taken from Kingdom Hearts (Not just a dark version of the character, but an evil, completely unhuman being) with the scene of the Heartless taking their heart seen if they should fail.

Other features would include a Krypt-like place for unlocking stuff, a Designer Station to make stages and designs that could be used as backgrounds or online avatars, and a movie maker to make cutscenes for your own storylines.

Mortal Kombat - realms, heaven & hell

Darkstalkers - horror movie monsters, folklore & myth

Killer Instinct - a corporation: cyborgs, aliens, magic, technology

DOA, Virtua Fighter, Street Fighter & Tekken involves martial arts

Soulcalibur involved weapons

Bloody Roar involves werebeasts

Rival Schools involves fighters from high schools, colleges & universities

Primal Rage involves kaiju

How about....

- An armor fighting game (like Iron Man & Medabots)

- A demigod fighting game

- A new kaiju fighting game

- A new weapons fighting game that'll rival Soul Calibur

- An alien constellation power-type fighting game

I actually had this idea for a fighting game a few years ago. I got the inspiration from the game War Gods. I was going to call it Zodiac and it's exactly what you would think. The fighting game characters would be based off the 12 signs of the zodiac with similar personalities. They wouldn't be animals per say, but more ethereal beings and the stages would be cosmic inspired. One of the ideas was to have Gemini play similar to Noob/Smoke from the MK: DA/Armageddon games, where they worked like a tag team.

Here are a few of my ideas:

1. Paradoxia

Created this happiness with Soulcalibur Broken Destiny. I love it soooooooooo much.

Here's a picture of Kali.

Judas

Oksana

Persephone (Mortal Kombat Online KAK7 Contestant)

2. Orithyea: Tournament of Roses

This is a game I came up with to be a major crossover fighting game featuring major female video game characters. The characters are listed under three distinct sets: Red Rose (Physical Combat), Silver Rose (Weapons Combat), and Black Rose (Energy Combat).

Red Rose Set

3. Mortal Kombat Xrossroads

This is just a pretty sweet bit I came up with to stall for time while waiting for MK10 to come out. Made it with Soulcalibur V. I wish I had more photos. sad

Just adding a little tweaking.

Darkstalkers and Killer Instinct added to the roster. Adding a tag option for ridiculous tag team chaos and interesting pair ups.
