I just mean in fighting games in general.

I don't have an Xbone, but honestly, this is the only game that has ever caught my interest and would get this game and only this game if I owned one. And I freaking adore the crap out of Maya's trailer. I don't know why, but she just reminds me of this character I've always drawn since my freshmen year of college. I love the moves that she has, her bouncing daggers... And I cannot get enough of the music either. Totally fits this whole game.

And in the comments, someone pointed out that the Mummy character has tie ins with Eagle? Not sure if this was ever brought up in this thread but I thought this would be something to throw in.

(Granted that I don't have an Xbox, I have always been a fan of this series, even though I haven't said that much about this game in this thread)

Nothing is known about the mummy-looking guy, except that it has been confirmed in a tweet that it is indeed not an actual mummy.

As for Eagle, he pretty much got the Cyber Initiative treatment and became Fulgore.

Mick Gordon hit the audio out of the park again with Maya. It's so fitting. I'm hoping it's actually included in the new killer cuts soundtrack.

I was reading on another forum that apparently Mick posted on his Facebook, that Killer cuts 3 is finished and will have 11 tracks.

As far as Maya's gameplay goes, I've noticed her daggers have different colors. I'm assuming they will work in a similar fashion to Spinal's skulls. Maybe she builds meter faster, when her dagger is impaled on the opponent?

That Maya trailer and music is freaking incredible. That music gets me so pumped it's not even funny. God forbid if I should dubb that mp3 and play it in my car, I'd be risking to getting into an accident.

Maya looks really good, her face is beautiful and her costume is sick. The jungle stage looks great, but I still say MKX has the better one.

I also really like the new User Interface that Iron Galaxy's come up with, my only gripe is that "Season 1" and "Season 2" in the character select screen. Just get rid of those words and everything looks perfect.

It's been very hard holding off an entire year not getting an Xbone. I waited patiently until KI was at it's fullest, didn't want a half assed game the way MS handled it to be rushed out. I hate that structure but KI is just too damn good to pass up. When Season 2 is complete I will finally have my hands on this game and a Xbone, in time for MKX as well. Iron Galaxy is handling KI very well, kudos to them!

Maya looks awesome. Stage also very good. Music is GLDLK as always.
But animations look stiff and unfinished. Accent on special effects wasn't the best idea of the trailer.

New UI is nice, but I liked old select screen better.

If a MK vs. KI game ever comes out (which I highly doubt it), I can picture Maya going head-to-head against Kitana as a rival. So can Sonya vs. Orchid.

They did an amazing job with Maya. Absolutely loved that trailer, from her awesome moves to the gorgeous background and that music. Freakin LOVE that music! Another home run for Mick Gordon for sure.

I'm sure that she'll be smoothed out even more before release. Remember how rough TJ looked in his trailer? He looks way way better now.

I really dig the speed of her dagger throws. I know that one's called temperance and one's called vengeance, but I'm not sure if they act differently at all. But I thought I saw that if you level them up enough in match (I believe by successful hits and not dropping them) she can actually combine them in to one weapon. Definitely curious to see that.

As for the mummy that's nog a mummy... Very intrigued. Love the artistic theme that they're going for, though I'm really glad they admitted just how early he was in development, cuz he looked pretty basic style-wise.

Not feeling the UI at all, but it seems I'm not alone, as a lot of KI fans are lighting up IGs forum about that. Aside from that one negative though, I loved season 1 and still play it every now and then, but I'm really pumped for season 2. The air breakers, recapture and changes made to season one characters all have me really excited (not to mention knock offs, ultimates, more story stuff and more characters). Can't wait!!

Some people already did on the KI forums.

That complaint already became invalid when we heard Jago say "I'm afraid your path ends here." in what sounded like a badly dubbed Kung fu movie.

I personally preferred "Perhaps this was not the path for you.." to be honest.

So I played a little bit of TJ, and he's fun. Got some nice tricks that's for sure.

Here's what bothers me:

- Combo can't play Arcade mode yet

- Can't play Combo's stage yet

- Combo has no unlockable colors or accessories yet

- Can't take Combo on Ranked yet

What gives? All I can really do is practice with the guy, which is major dogshit. I know it's early access, but I can't even play on his stage yet. Seriously?

I have a problem and I'm not sure what the deal is. I need some help.

So everytime I try to start KI it won't start. Like it'll show the KI logo but just go to a black screen and stay there. I've tried uninstalling and then reinstalling it several times which worked before but isn't working now. None of my games on disc give me this kind of trouble. With Season 2 just 2 days away, I'd like to be able to play the game.

Is there anything I can do to fix this?

Cinder and Riptor confirmed for sure, and I'm pretty sure Tusk was there. No idea about the others. Didn't see Kim Wu though :(

If that is Combo's theme in the trailer it jams. I love that track and I hate hip hop/rap.

Looked like a Finisher at the end.

The tree guy looks fun, and there's someone with what looks like a naginata. Interesting.
The Stage Ultra looks fun too. Hopefully there will be more on other stages as well.

Upon a closer look at :59, yeah it doesn't look like Tusk. I saw the sword and the hair and instantly thought Tusk. But that looks like something else not hair and the one eye threw me off. Plus the sword really doesn't look like Tusk's sword.

Great to have Cinder confirmed for all the naysayers. Can't believe some people were still debating if he is in after TJ's trailer. Also glad Shadow Jago will be there with his own moves. I love his design.

That tree man is said to be a golem, and the guy with the blade is some kind of ghost or monster.. Confirmed via killerinstinct central.

Only thing that sucks, by the time all characters are out, MKX will be out and I'll be bummed which one to play more.
