Wow, nice pics! Obviously, my biased ass loves the shot of Sonya's sexay torso.
It looks like a version of her MK:DA / MK:A primary they didn't use. Hmm... I love the chain, that should've been put in along with MK:SM's belly ring. Maybe they're saving such features for her MK:8 version? *prays*

Thanks for the update.

Anyone else find it funny that the cover says, "Before pixels and polygons" yet has a picture of a 3D render of Baraka on it?

Yeah, It's kind of an oxymoron, it should be traditional art on the cover.
Looks interesting though, I might pick one up.

Ehh, not really it's just for the cover dude.
Does anyone else think that that's kind of trivial?
You know what they say right?
"Never judge a book by it's cover"

Not really...it's what's INSIDE, who gives a crap what's on the cover. It's for show...not a big deal..
The baraka Concept just so you guys know is a drawing concept by Midway, it's not like they used a gameplay shot from the 3D MK's..........

but the concept is a 3d render ( which involves polygons). Sayin before pixels and polygons, and including a 3d render is a bit contradictory. They're suppose to use a sketch instead of a 3d render of an mk character. It's not a biggie... but it's noticable.

Like you said in your last point dude, it's not a biggie. It's like saying the Halo in Halo 3 on the cover isn't "round enough" lol personally I think some people grasp at straws and look for trivial things to bitch about lol.
That baraka concept though FTR was out before MKD even came out, most of the time concepts like that don't even get used.
And I know most people won't really notice this but ..in game, Baraka's eyes DON'T glow yellowish orange like the drawing concept.

According to TMK's site the MK section is only like 14-16 pages and there's really not much to it besides MKD and MKSM stuff.
I submit a thread about the MK series being named one of Yahoo's top 10 most controversial games ever and THIS gets posted??? Granted it has some MK artwork in it. but books in general not named Harry Potter(or as I like to call him, Pothead) aren't that popular

If you created a thread, unless it got deleted it's still posted. I don't understand what your beef with this thread is.

I wouldnt buy it, it only has 128 pages and I could care less about the other games Midway included in this book. Id rather just spend $10 more and buy the new Capcom Art book with 304 pages, which includes street fighter, darkstalkers, rival schools, and devil may cry.

Cool. I'd like to play around with the pictures one of these days...Hopefully some other picture of Raiden..
