I tried pink and the character works fine (well, for a beta)

I had no problems, maybe you guys are messing up with the select.def file in mugen.

Anyways, I have this stage in one of my mugen games that is just amazing. It was in that Street Fighter vs. MK 3 video where Akuma and Chameleon fight. Just check out that video, you'll know what I'm talking about. It's the stage on top of the Pit 3 in that video. Something like that would be awesome.

Okay I got her in there now.

I started all over. I deleted all the pink_ranger files and just re-downloaded her again.

I'll try to get some screen shots up, of how your mugen stuff needs to look in order for her to work. But really, you have got to make sure that the .def file, and the character folder are named exactly the same.

ex:

pink_ranger.def

WRONG

1. The pink_ranger.def file is in the Pink_Ranger folder before you put that folder in the"chars" folder. However, you need to change the Pink_Ranger folder name, to pink_ranger.

2. Drag and drop the pink_ranger folder into the chars folder.

3. after you see that the pink_ranger folder is in there, come out of the chars folder

4. go into the Data folder,

5. use notepad to open the "select" item//icon,(right click>>open with>>notepad

6. scroll down to "Insert your characters below" section,

7. erase one of the
"kfm, stages/kfm.def" completely, and only put pink_ranger there. Exactly like the folder, and the .def file is spelled.

8. DON'T FORGET TO SAVE YOUR CHANGES!

9. Open Mugen and make sure you can toggle to, and select her. On my keyboard, I used the letter x to select her in order to begin a match

Oh, and don't change the names of any of the other files, like I did. HA! I must have thought I was changing the folder name, and changed some other file by accident.

Your character should be playable after that. I'll link some screen shots later so people can have a clear visual aid to go along with this.

pred, do you use Mugen regularly lol. Captilization doesn't really matter, believe me, I've tested it, so you can lowercase the letters if you want.

Hm, well....it mattered when I tried it all those times.

Basically, the safe bet is to just make everything exactly the same.....so that's how I put it.

All of a sudden it started working for me. And I didn't change anything.

Actually pred, it doesn't matter what the folder name is, as lng as you get the name of the .def file right in the select.def
