I've noticed that some people on here literally rage at the sight of change. It's gonna happen eventually, and some may as well get use to it.

That's the worst part. They sub-planted Smoke's old and used storyline onto Sub-Zero just undo it in the next game, making the whole thing for absolutely nothing. The whole issue is just one giant step backwards.

Also, people are actively praising this idiocy, which is unbelievably frustrating. It's not like (rational) posters are praising the omission of Rain.

Sure I'm a devoted Mileena have, always have been and always will be. Do I like the fact that she's gone from being the oppurtunistic, spiteful, manipulative and cunning little wench I've known and loved since 1993 into a grown, mutated woman with the mental capacity of a 5 year old? I could complain about it, but it is what is is. She's still Mileena. And I wouldn't be a fan if I didn't still love her despite her changes.

Same happened with Jill Valentine in Resident Evil 5. Jill has, and always will be, my number one gal. You could make her as Aryan as a German Housewife, and I'll still love her to bits. I don't see what's wrong with change. People grow, the world adapts, nothing on this world stays the same. Why expect a videogame to be nearly 20 years old with nothing new to it?

You guys know using the "there's nothing wrong with change!" argument doesn't work when you're defending a recycled storyline, right? Either way, change for the sake of change isn't good writing. It's just how MK fans roll. They want every thing to be frozen in 1995. They want the same story, same feel, same EVERYTHING. Which is why we've been in this nostalgia pit for seven straight years. The MK team have literally been trying their best to make it 1995 again with every game released since Deadly Alliance, which I love because that particular game dared to leave 1995 and come into 2002. Deadly Alliance(imo) showed that the series was growing up.

But starting with Deception the MK team have started getting stuck in the act of pleasing those uptight conservative "my way or the high way" whackjob basement dwelling self-proclaimed "know it alls", who post here all the time btw, and who pride themselves on knowing everything about MK including Liu Kang's dick size. I hate those people.

I'd be a little disappointed if there aren't more significant changes in the game. I was really hoping for a vastly different design for Raiden. Aside from the hat, I've disliked his look since game 1.

Rain is going to be in there's no need to even worry about that.I believe he will be there DLC cash cow.If u had to save anyone from the original trilogy why not someone that can build up his own hype by himself.Rain is the only character other than Jade that could have been used for this purpose.

Ed knows where the money is and he has seen the MANY MANY MANY Rain fans on Twitter. He knows the deal.
