I think Jade is more important than Rain in terms of story, since she's connected with Kitana, who we all know plays a huge role. Not only that but everywhere you look you see Jade fans here. LMAO.

You don't seem to understand. This MK is going through the timeline of the original trilogy, though the timeline has altered. However, a character who was in the original trilogy but is NOT in this game is Rain, as the ONLY character.

Instead we got Quan Chi who was NOT part of the original trilogy, AND we get an extra Sub-Zero who many fans don't even want to begin with.

And that's what's hurting Rain fans' butts.

It's not about storyline importance only. Every character has its place in the story. Some are more important than others to the main storyline, however, they all have their spot! So leaving a character out of it, simply because that character isn't "important enough" is an incredibly silly arguement.

I'm at a loss for words when it comes to all this Rain love. IMO his concept is weak, a ninja/half God, Subs already has water on lock, and purple is meeeh. he looks like a drag queen after the uni switch, and last but not least let's not forget he's named after a song from PRINCE.

I was actually afraid that we would end up seeing a human Sektor. He's always been this heartless cyborg with no humanity left in him to me, and now I've seen him as a human, though still a heartless.

And honestly, I am disappointed about his looks. It's rather plain and unoriginal. As said, he even resembles Shang Tsung somewhat.

Cyrax, while looking like Kai's Armageddon look somewhat, looks cooler though, but still quite plain. I wish they would have done more about their human appearances than just throwing some ninja-clothes on them.

However, I do like how they've implemented their special moves into their human forms. Sektor got flamethrowers, Cyrax got bombs in his belt and his buzzsaw blade on his wrist. I wonder how Sektor will shoot his missiles and how Cyrax will shoot his net though.

I'm at a loss for idiots who think Rain is the only character that can be deconstructed in such a manner. Any MK character can be deconstructed to shit, including whoever is your precious favorite. You just don't like Rain, others do. It's not as complex as you think.
