Thought the Challenge Tower was gonna be your basic survival/increased difficulty game mode but this is just awesome!

This looks like alot of fun, but unfortunately Ill never beat it if the last challenge is as rage inducing as they are describing it. Ive never been one to grind to finish something. Im up for a challenge but not anything over the top. We will see

I agree. they look awkward. I invisioned them as being way more badass, not that they arent bad ass, i just think they dont fit. This MK is way too dark and gritty to have colored ninjas running around. I honestly think they would fit better with UMK3 costumes. But that isnt stopping me from buying the special edition and getting all the klassic skins.
But i digress. This game is looking more and more amazing everytime i see it. I literally cant wait. im beating this challenge tower.

I saw Waterfront too...idk I instantly made the same association.

It looked to me like something totally different from either the waterfront or the bridge. IDK.

For the record, since the original MK3 Bridge was modeled after Wacker Drive in Chicago, I looked it up and Wacker Drive does indeed overlook a river. It is not an overpass, it is an actual bridge.

I am still not sure about souls of non-chosen staying intact during the time...I think canonically Shao Kahn first invaded Earth,then he stole the souls after merging it with Outworld. Am I wrong on smth?

Love how the Tower starts in the NetherRealm and ends up in the sky with the Elder God style floating pyramids.

Yeah. but Wacker drive isn't that high up among buildings. But really, its not important. Thinking about it, I would love a stage modeled after lower Wacker Drive at night. Bathed in orange lights, surrounded by abandoned cars while looking out onto the river.

I SERIOUSLY think that Shao Kahn's new look is growing on me. I'm liking the helmet hair a little bit more now...

....But his alternate is still WAY MORE badass.

This game looks more and more promising everyday. I seriously didn't play MVC3 at release just to check out the Noob Saibot video.

The way Shao Kahn's cloth moved was actually quite cool. Looked realistic.

... And that's the only positive thing I have to say about that outfit.

Yeah, I still hate the primary Kahn outfit too. I know I've complained about Scorpion's and Kitana's a lot, but Kahn's is the one that I dislike the most, I can live with the other two. The classic samurai one on the website better be selectable in the game.
