The good news: I loved MK2 female ninja designs and since I don't have any UMK3 female ninja costumes, these will do nicely.

I've missed Kitana having shoulder length hair, it looks so muc better.

They're free and despite me wishing it was someone else, as long as we eventually get retros for the other characters, I can't complain, I don't care if they charge us or they're free, but I want them eventually.

MK2 Mileena and Skarlet better be the last retro dlc's!!!! Grape and cherry?!?!?! :)

That's right folks! It's the Jade and Kitana MK2 Costumes!

What a waste.... This is so stupid. Can we have some other classics? I'm not even a big sonya fan but i would of much rather of seen the classic skin of her, Stryker, jax,.... anyone that doesnt have 3 costumes already.

The funny thing is MKII are my fave's for everyone but NRS made those look like crap.

Now this a realistic guess.

Mileena's MKD outfit will not happen. Her alt in MK9 is already remixed version of the MKD primary.
Kano's MK1 outfit is unneeded - he has MK3 outfit that is basically recolored and a bit updated version of MK1 costume.
Ermac's outfit is already resembles his MKD one, so there is no sense to give another costume.

IMHO, the only characters that can receive retrocostumes are Sonya (MK3), Jax (MK2), Kung Lao (MK2, MK3), Shang Tsung (MK2, MK3, MKDA).
All others have slightly remixed versions of old costumes, so there is no need to give them retros, that will look like simplified versions of their current outfits. It workd with ninja, since they were so prominent in their palette swapping, but for the rest of the cast it will look unneeded.

Look bland, sorry. They succeed at recreating the classic look, so props to them. But converting costumes that had an extremely simple look, doesn't look very visually interesting.

On the other Jade is seriously reminding me of B. Orchid.

I think it's a case where they probably shouldn't have remade the costumes so faithfully. I mean it's cool that they did and it turned out great for the UMK3 suits but I think taking inspiration from the Malibu comics probably would have been better, such as longer, fingerless gloves, longer boots, a thinner belt, longer hair and give the leotard more of a halterneck. I'm still not sure whether or not I like these costumes but still, it's cool that they did it and hey, it's free. I hope Mileena will get hers though. Her crazy eyes, mouth and swagger will probably carry it better.

Well they are not the best design, I acknowledge that but I like them

Ok please wrap all the ninja love up. I love the MK retro alts for the girls (should of had mileena in there as well) but please focus on original alt costumes. Take the
concepts in new recognizable directions for the non ninja cast.

I find the costumes barely OK, sort of uninteresting and I really don't like the hair.

UMK3 costumes are much better, imo. However, overall I prefer MK2011 costumes (except Kitana's shitty alternate), they just look fresher.

Too bad UMK3 costumes weren't free... I really like UMK3 light blue version of Kitana since it matches the color of her fans.

Noob and Smoke SHOULD have been in the first 'classic skins' pack...
why?... because all these are palatte swaps... seriously... NOTHING is different other than the colors... that shouldn't take more than an hour to change...

FIRST... we already got the MK3 versions of Kitana, Jade, and Mileena...
(I know... these are FREE... but still)

seeing as Jade wasn't even playable in MK2... it just defies all reason to skip over Mileena... like I said... maybe another hour worth of work... if that?

I've never been a MK fan until I picked this game up a few weeks ago... (they were selling it for 34.99 on walmart website)...

and if the lack of balance and consistancy keep up this way... I won't become one after this game either...
