No one gives a flying fuck about what you think of NRS's marketing, for one NRS doesn't market this game, WB does, so everything you just said is a complete waste and just shows how ignorant you are. For two, just quit crying already, there's enough crying and cry babies crying about everything else they could possibly cry about without you crying about how you want every detail of the game and now. Without a doubt, one of the best renders so far. Love Old man Shang, I have been one of those bitchy fans to request his old look back as well as his young look, with either or being the alternate costume. I am in Heaven.

The Younger Shang is also very badass looking. He has some nice snake motiffs on the costume itself, has that Steven Segal look. Man he is a fucking PIMP!

I was a little dissapointed by the sudden rush down of recent leaks that spoiled the whole roster including secret characters. But then shit like this appears on the second to last Mortal Monday.

Then I realize that MK's marketing is so bad, that the fans have to market the game for them, and in a sense they deserve it. Nobody gives a shit about wall papers that aren't even that cool.

If you look at the history of this games marketing it starts off strong with a reveal trailer. More footage is then released in E3. After that it goes to shit. MKast become sporadic. No characters are released to the public for free. The magazines hog all of the coverage. The website fucks up its countdown, twice. However, they start to make a come back with the challenge tower video. Then they release a Noob trailer that was awesome. Then Kabal is announced on GT, but it didn't hype me up that much. Then nothing but Raiden footage which is okay because we haven't seen much of him. Then some Kratos footage. This wouldn't be so bad but xbox users like myself could care less. Then three weeks before launch and nothing. Two weeks before launch and this shitty wallpaper. They still have 5 characters to announce, and the game is almost out.

Its official the marketing for this game sucks. If your thinking about responding to my rant, you may want to save your energy, because I'm done arguing this. It seems pretty clear that this isn't up for debate, it is a fact that their marketing sucks. Especially in comparison to MKvsDC, Smash bros., Street Fighter, and MvC3. Fuck this wallpaper.

And second, point out the part of my post where I said I wanted every detail about the game to be released right now. All I said is that I'd like to see a wee bit more gameplay footage or maybe even a tiny preview of this "best ever" storyline mode. I mean God forbid I be a little disappointed with what they released today, that would be crazy. Wanting to know more on the quality of something before I pay for it? Ridiculous.

Shang Tsung with human eyes does not look badass to me at all, especially in his young form, so I'm for this older look all the way. The empty eyes made him look sooooo sinister both in MK2 and 3.

Both versions of Shang look badass. Can't wait to try him out.

He is one of my absolute favorite characters, so, I feel a bit disappointed that he doesn't look as impressive and menacing as he did in MKDA and MKSM.

This is a fantastic wallpaper though, and, after Mileena's, its probably my favorite of the lot. I'm loving the Fatality and I seriously hope they keep it magical and that they don't screw it up with an anti-climatic dismemberment.

That would be even more stupid than Raiden's.

Looks great. I was hoping he'd lift them up by the neck again, but aside from that, it looks marvelous.

I wonder if the body will be shriveled and dessicated, a puddle of mush afterward, or what. There's never been consistency when it comes to what's left afterwards.

I would prefer the shriveled mummy look, the puddle reminded me too much of Indiana Jones hahaha.
