No, it's creativity. And how could that ever, even hypothetically, threaten my life? o_O
Developing an ulcer over a crumb of information about something like a video game is obsession and unhealthy.
Get well soon.

Um... so creating yet ANOTHER cyborg is "creativity"? The cyborgs are already old hat at this point. It would be like if they came up with yet another color-swapped ninja. That's already old ground few of us want to see retread.
And, secondly, they are making a consumer product. This is not a piece of art that they are creating solely for themselves. This is a game other people are paying for, thus making it OUR product and we're paying for them to create it for us.
... That said, the rest of the game still looks fantastic. I just think that yet another cyborg, this time of Sub-Zero, is the opposite of creativity. It's a terrible twist many of us called them on MONTHS ago and asked them NOT to do because it was predictable, unwanted, and unnecessary.

Keep in mind folks, it doesn't say she's nude. Just says best alternate ever.
No where in there does it say nude.
Also, these are confirmed, so swallow it any way you want...It's gonna happen!

Ah yes, I see now. I was glancing over the conclusions other people made, I didn't look directly at the spoilers.

Seriously, I love when Ed Boon trolling MK Kommunity. I love this bastard. And for the (Rage) Red Lanterns, here's a Blue Lantern. Blue... as Cyber Sub-Zero.

Cyber Sub Zero could just be a what-if, but the way Pat worded it (And he does know that the character is indeed in the game) is that Cyber Zero is intrinsic to the storyline of the new game.
So, let's not jump to conclusions just yet.

I've quite a bit to say on these, but for the tl;dr crowd, I'm absolutely thrilled with these secret achievements.
Fo starters, I got to be honest and say that the MK team has balls the size of a planet for including a Cyber Sub-Zero. Don't get me wrong, I'm not really interested in the concept, and I doubt that there'll be that much of a change to his overall moves and abilities (how can one mechanize the manipulation of cold anyway), but to include a concept into a game that people will absolutely hate for the sake of progressing the story, and showing that they really mean business when they say that things in this version of the story will change takes a lot of guts and balls. Razor's theory about it just being the body of older Sub while Noob Saibot's basically his spirit makes the most sense, if we don't consider fact that Sub-Zero's body was left on Shang's island as it crumbled into the ocean in another realm, so it's unlikely that that's how it'll be done, but hey, who cares about canon details like that?
With that being said, maybe Cyber Sub-Zero's not canon; it's not like they've never explored concepts like that before, if in somewhat lacklustre ways (who remembers Human Smoke and Classic Sub-Zero in UMK3 and MKT anyway).
Kudos to NRS, kudos! This seriously makes up for the fact that Kratos would be a guest character and Rain would most likely be downloadable content instead of in the initial roster.
Also, the fact that Quan Chi's a secret character (not available initially) makes me feel better, as that's what he should be in this game, a secret manipulator, working behind the scenes like he really did in MK1-3.
As for the "Best... Costume... EVER!" thing, why's everyone jumping the gun that it's a costume of Mileena naked? Seriously, as someone already mentioned earlier, DOA gets a mention in its ESRB rating about scantily clad girls, so maybe she's just wearing a teeny-bikini? Now I'm really curious, where's this whole nude news coming from?
You sir, are a great and rational human being.

While I agree with you Garlador, I would like to point out that I am an aspiring game developer and would only make a game that I find I have passion in making because it's design is a reflection of my interests, not everybody elses. That said the MK team should listen to the most reasonable arguments fans give as to why certain things should or shouldn't be in the game. Although funny thing is personal preference and logic are a paradox unto each other...so you can't really win.

What actually happened to Bi Han's body after Scorpion killed him in the initial timeline? Was it buried, or did it just burn to a crisp when Scorpion killed him?

A good point indeed, though considering the MK2 comic revealed that Raiden, Scorpion, and Sub-Zero were all fighting against Shang's forces together up until Scorpion killed Sub-Zero and that Raiden watched as Scorpion went back to Hell, and Raiden flew to Cage's rescue without mentioning or having Subby's body, it seems kind of random that anyone else would sneak onto the island and snag his body. But who knows? Maybe this time another Lin Kuei will be with Sub-Zero in the tournament and in that last bout long enough to get his body back to LK headquarters.

There's no mention on how Scorpion killed Sub-Zero, so he could've done anything if it got the job done, but considering he killed him as Shang's island was being destroyed, I doubt he got a proper burial.

Well technically, you don't need the body either. They could have just made robots. The fact that they didn't tells me that there's something about keeping the hosts alive that makes automation work. If they could have automated Corpses, wouldn't they have done it already?
If I had to guess the answer, I'd say it's because they want to preserve their skills as assassins. A lifetime of ninja experience is not something you can program. The Lin Kuei could have said "Sub-Zero wants to escape? Let him. He can run laps while we build our robot corpse army." Yet they didn't because Sub-Zero was the Lin Kuei's shining star, and therefore their most valuable resource. My theory has always been that the cyborgs aren't lacking souls; they just don't have access to them. They're on mute.
Also, we don't know what Scorpion did to Sub-Zero's body. If he toastied him, then I don't see this corpse-automation thing happening at all.
