Welp..I definatley agree with the first three...I simply agree with the last two.

If you don't mind me asking now, why did you only have us pick 5?

Good question. I obviously didnt ask for just one or two because most would have picked Subzero or Scorpion, thus making the poll dull.

Secondly, According to Ed Boon, only a very select few characters would make it to mk8.....so 5 just seemed like a reasonable number for returning characters.

I'm guessing this poll was very hard for some ppl, since people have multiple favorites. However, multiple favorites wont make it to mk8, only a few..so that's why it had you ask for the top 5 you'd like to see return in mk8.
