Oh yea, this is a little present for the Black Dragon people. Should likely go in their starter post when their thread is made. I'll probably make more over time, but I came across the Dragon and had an idea that didn't take me long at all to achieve.

And Pred, thank you a fuckin LOT about the "Black Dragon animation", but hey, although this one is great, and as for me it shall be used, can you do it but with the other logo? The one that is in my signature? i know it is a palette swap of the red dragon logo, but with the dragon head in grey, and the background in black and also the actual "black dragon brething fire" animation it can fit the Black Dragon official logo.

Maybe I'll just make a "universal" sig or something that anyone from your clan can use. But I wanted to use the "Official" symbol so there is no disputing which clan has whatever symbol.

The way I see it, if I did that, it would be the first thing for people to start bitching about....aheh, and I don't wanna be the dude who created the "conflict of interest".....even though it would be pretty correct to have conflict between the clans like that. HA!

Now, this is the one, and only test that I want the answers to be posted up IN HERE. Any following (probably 1 or 2 more, and maybe a general one that changes from time to time. That one could be used for people who want to be the GM for a new clan) will be answered by sending them to me via Pm. Those test will be posted up in here though.

Do Not correct anyone in here just yet. because I will post up the answers to all of these questions in about a day or so for those who have interest in being a "Clan Grand Master", and have answered the questions.

Anybody can answer this quiz because this is just for fun and will better your time here on MkO. But those interested in being a clan GM should make it known when you post up your answers. A simple "I wanna be the GM for: Blah Blah Clan", then post your answers is fine.

Also, as some of you know, I like to give rewards for things well done. So, for this test only, people who get 95% or more of these questions right will get a dp or two(haven't decided yet). The questions are pretty easy imO so, that's why there's so many questions there......Harder next time? Probably less questions.

If you pass all The Test and become a GM, there will also be a reward. That's all I'll say about that right now.

After these initial test are complete, and our first couple of GMs are selected, we'll start building up a general faq, or "database" for all the clans. As you can probably imagine, it will be alot like the faq for MkO(just less extensive, and more specific for clan puposes).

Then we'll get into what the clans can do, making clan threads, their ranking systems......and Then maybe we'll start on some "friendly competitions". I'm a concept kinda guy myself, so I always welcome ideas.

That's how we'll do it for now, things will be adjusted as we go along.

I made some edits to what you already put since it's not exactly all bad. Put the following in there...All you will have to do is:

1. "Reply" to this post and "Add Original", but don't post the message.

3. "Edit" your first post by Highlighting everything you have written in there now.

Because of disorganization amongst the clans, I, with the help of other members, am creating this official database of clans. You must come here before creating one. the official clan creation rules are as follows:


1: All clans must have at least one Leader. The name of most leaders so far are "Grand Masters", but a clan leaders name can cater to the clan itself. For instance, the Special Forces won't have a Grandmaster, but will have some sort of highly decorated General, or Commander in Chief(President).

2: Ranking systems are greatly encouraged for most clans, but are optional for the few others. If you would like to start a clan, invest time here as it will definitely improve how organized your clan will be.

3:Each Clan member can have a form of id. User bars, little badges or avatars to distinguish themselves from the others are exceptable. Anything that conveys "dis-concern" for another clan will lead to an immediate shadow ban and or dismissal from all clan functions.

4:There must be a code of Honor and clan rules for each faction.

5: NO CLAN HOPPING. The only exeptions here are:
a. Your clan was omitted and you would like to join another clan. Maybe your clan was simply too inactive per capita.
b. Clan leaders agree. "Honorable Discharge".
c. You have not been Shadow Banned and Dishonorably Discharged from any clan thus far.

"Red font" confirms that the clan has at least one leader now.

"Black font" confirms that the Clan needs no more leaders, and the thread for that clan is already made.

I wanna make this clear once more, that you should be posting this quizs' answers in this thread..... After I confirm that I have saved them, you are to edit them out of your post. It's part of "the test" as a whole in making sure you guys can "perform" efficiently(I wanna see you do it. Kind of a re-assurance thing for me, so I know there aren't immature personalities as leaders of these "clans".). I'm doing it like this because it's one of the problems I saw when I went through all the threads over here.

If all you really want is to join one of the Clans (like me) after they're created, you should not be taking these test. You will be subject to whatever acceptance test that specific clan might have though.....we haven't worked all that out yet however.

But, if you do want to be the leader of one of the clans....state which one you are applying for, and answer the quiz questions here. We'll take it from there..




Nah uh, it's cool now man.

But Pred, it is a very relative matter, when we talk about wich is the 'official' black dragon logo.
You see, the first and original black dragon logo, was introduced in MK4, in the back of Jarek's jacket, and it was a black version of the logo that is in my signature (probably because Jarek's jacket was brown). And by this time, Midway haven't came up with the Red Dragon clan yet, so this dragon head logo was created to be the 'official' black dragon logo.

Then, a few years later, MK Special Forces came out, this was the only game in wich the black dragon logo that you used in the animation, was featured (as i remember..), and also, this game was confirmed by Midway as being non-canonical.

So, we can just assume, that Jarek used that logo in his jacket, to mock the Red Dragon's logo (i imagine that all black dragon members, hate the red dragon clan).
But, in real-life timeline, Midway created the black dragon before the red dragon, and the logo that is in my sig, was firstly created and used as black dragon.

So, i guess the black dragon as two logos.. and this reinforces the anarchist, cut-throat atitude of its members (at least some time ago it was like this). They have one logo that is a direct insult to their parent organization (red dragon), and they have a logo that represents the black dragon as a totally individual society, that as nothing to do with the red dragon. And this last logo (the one featured in MK SF, and the one that you used in the animation), was used in MK SF, wich was based on the underground criminal activities of the clan, and not in their rivalries with the red dragon. I still ask you to do a similar (or equal) animation with the dragon head logo.. Thank you.

The logo he used for the gif is from the lastest Mortal Kombat installment: Mortal Kombat: Armageddon. In Konquest Mode, you can see black dragon members with that same insignia on their back.

So umm, that's kinda why its "official".
