In all seriousness, let me know if things like this example take away from one's enjoyment when listening. If it's cool with you guys, we'll just let it go however it goes. But if it makes it hard to listen to or enjoy when tangents take forever or lots of random "awkward sex jokes" happen, I'll do what I can to pull things back when they take too long. Nobody has actively complained or had an issue, so it's hard to judge.

I actually get the bigger laughs from the rants that tend to spiral out of other conversations. I think it makes you guys sound more human and easier to relate to other than just giving us recaps of the news of the week.
But thats just me.

I was being sincere not sarcastic. You're fine, even the sex jokes were mk related, it doesn't bother me. It'll be easier when you have something to chew on instead of random questions. Keep it up bro.
I'm going to catch up on the first few when I work on my truck later.

My only comment would be possibly try to get more questions answered. I think only 3 were actually talked about, but even then each question spawned an intense 35+ minute discussion. So I understand it's hard to maintain that balance.
Great episode though.
I was actually surprised the GameStop commercial was discussed.

I agree with this 100%, I can tell that Razor is really passionate about the game/story and I can relate to that really well. He goes on long rants/discussions but they're all good and very enjoyable. Like Temp said on the podcast, it was good shit and i'm glad I listened to it.

I agree, I don't think you should try to structure it too much or turn it into some "Q&A, I don't know, hands on buzzers, pass" thing. The conversational flow is what makes these so enjoyable. They've got a lot of passion for the series and they know their stuff, so I say just let it roll. I could listen to Razor talk about the series for days.

I agree with some other posters here. It is really cool to listen to Razor talk about the story. Actually, I would love to hear Razor tell the entire story of MK in order. Elaborating on the main plots and covering all the side dealings as well. That would be really interesting and I imagine people could learn a lot or clear up some of the confusing things.

Razor's story insight is always awesome to hear. I do miss his posts around here, but I see why he stopped posting.
Looking forward to next week's episode. Hopefully we get surprised by another character reveal!

I said this on youtube but I am asking this again on here. Do you want to see undead characters or undead costumes for the characters to be in MKX ?

I heard a lot of man-giggles on this ep. Man-giggles.

Exactly. And I imagine once the game comes out and you guys get to jump head first into the deep end and dissect the shit out of it that it's only going to get even more entertaining than it already is.
When I saw the title of the episode I thought we were gonna get a Nightwolf retrospective and I was a bit surprised as I couldn't remember anyone asking for a Nightwolf retrospective. However, when blackcyborg said Nightwuff the first time I noticed it right away and I have to agree with Temp, it sounded adorable.
Besides Temp's, now already legendary, Nytara, I also find odd the way Razor pronounces Netherrealm. To be more precise, the first part ('Nether') of the name, as if it's called Neitherrealm.
As for who's got a better chance of being in MKX, Smoke or Ermac. Both have quite a lot of fans, I'd even say Smoke has more. However, I have this feeling that the guys over at NRS like Ermac better, especially since MKD, and that might make the difference in Ermac's favor.
I remember during the MK2011 promotion days Ed talking in an interview about Ermac's inclusion in the game and he had that facial expression like he was talking about a character he really likes, seemed very excited (he was talking on how they gave him some sick moves for MK2011). I can't remember any interviews on Smoke during the promotion days. Granted, he was revealed very late, but even the reveal wasn't like a proper reveal. It was like a leaked blurry image of his select screen mug (iirc). Ermac also had that high-res official render out very early on as well. However, maybe I'm having difficulties remembering details of Smoke during the pre-release phase of MK2011 as I wasn't as hyped about him as I was about Ermac. I do remember the massive reaction to hair (much bigger than the reaction the fanbase had on Ermac's nose, lol).
Anyway, just saying, I'm kinda with blackcyborg when it comes to this matter on who's gonna make it to MKX. Somehow, I have a feeling Smoke might not make it (no hard feelings).
Of the MK4-MKA characters... I think Kai is sort of interesting. No one really talks about him and he doesn't seem to be requested that much. There doesn't seem to be much hate around him either, so it's pretty dead there in the Kai zone. However, I remember Ed talking in an interview (was it Kai's MKA bio card?) on how he regrets they were never able to make the hand stance work for Kai like a complete fighting style for him, so... Who knows, with the emphasis on the variations in MKX and the massive gameplay improvements they had in the last couple of games, maybe now is the right time? Is that like the biggest thing he's got going for him that might help him make it to game? Like, the potential in his gameplay and all the crazy stuff they could do with the hand stance, could that help him enough to make it in?

They kept Smoke under wraps because him being human in the guy is a slight spoiler about the 'shocking' Cyber Sub-Zero plot twist.
But yeah, Smoke's popularity is very high right now. If I had to choose, I'd choose Smoke. His story needs to be followed up on now, not make us wait 4 years. Plus I think he'd fit very well into the variation system.

This has also been driving me nuts. They used to say "The Neitherworld" in the 90's Beetlejuice cartoon to riff off of "Netherworld" and now whenever Razor says it, that's all I can think of.

I kinda don't want to criticize, but since you're down for feedback, I guess it's okay.
When I did episode five with you guys, I really wasn't expecting it to take such a long time to get through every question you guys had. And since I also had someone else in the room with me when this was happening, he too also thought that how much time it took to get this pod cast down was a bit lengthy.
I know you guys have things run the way you want to, but having everyone answering every question and usually their answers take such a long time to get through, it takes a very long time to get to the next question. I feel like not everyone should answer the questions, and if they have to, they should at least keep it within a short amount of time with the answers. Some of the casts lasts for three hours. That's not really... something I'd find entertaining. And it's why I don't really listen to the whole thing.
But of course, you guys could keep going to way you guys do, this is just how I feel and that's why I kinda don't listen to majority of them because of the length. And yes, this is just my two cents, you don't need to take anything I say seriously but, I just feel having it be very lengthy tends to get a bit boring after a while.
But I had fun doing this so yeah
I'd be down doing it again if needed but like I said, this was fun!

Someone was in the room with you during that ep? Maybe that's not weird. But it could be weird...
Maybe this person is more deserving of my username than I am.

It was weird. I believe at one point in that episode, you can hear a microwave being used by said person, and then them eating whatever they cooked. lol
But as far as the length goes with each question, I definitely agree. Even I was losing track as I spaced off waiting for things to get back on track. However, the majority have expressed that they like the tangents etc. so I'm inclined to not fix what's not broken. But, I agree, not everyone needs to answer every question, especially when it comes to re-iterating what has already been said. Hopefully we'll get through more, on average, on a consistent basis. Either way, as long as people are having fun, both on our side of things, and your side of things, all is well.
Thanks for the feedback. Never be afraid to criticize, as long as there is a point to it. heh

Not sure if you guys have recorded the next episode yet. But I had a couple questions in mind.
(1) What do you guys think of Kotal Kahn's demeanor in the comic? He seems calm, level-headed and three dimensional. Do you think he may not be a true villain after all?
(2) Could you see Mileena as the game's boss?
