Even if this game is subpar gameplay wise.

The story mode looks like it will make up for any misgivings.

Well, I can't answer for every character, but...

You know, I haven't really seen much that I liked about MKvsDC. Disliked many of the vids I've seen, outright hated some. But this, this just kicked ass. Other than a few disappointing character models, most noticably Wonder Woman and the bit where both sides charged at each other, because that gave me a horrible Armageddon flashback, the video was great.

I gotta say....WOW. That really looked amazing. Looks like Quan Chi might play a larger role than once thought....which makes me sadder that he's not playable. Who would've though, the story might actually make sence, and be....dare I say....good.

That was F'N Awesome! I loved the voice over for Joker. Sick video! Gave me Goosebumps of anticipation.

Yea, that was a great surprise to hear that the Joker sounded on par. Nobody was really questionable except Shang Tsung. He sounds like a bad Antonio Bandares impersonation. And actually, while I love to see Antonio Bandares perform, that is not Shang Tsung. Could've just been the rhetoric at that moment but, Shang Tsung is supposed to sound like a really, REALLY old Asian guy. I'd press this regardless of how he actually looks a any time.

More than the concept of this game, I absolutely hate it when a character (any character) is misrepresented. It drives me nuts.

Really, this was epic. The Jokers's laugh and ending were soooo good! The voice was indeed so much better then we are used to! I know some people from my neighbourhood who say MK and DC can't ever mix up right, just wait till they see this video. Really awesome.

I already knew I was going to get this game, and now I'm even hyped!

OMG! After seein this video, I gotta say the story mode is lookin way better than I expected. The gameplay from what I've seen from the videos brings back memories of the glory days of the early MK games. Even though the fatalities are "toned down", I believe the story and gameplay will makeup for them, Can't wait for the game so I can start with online play

MK DA konquest mode explains it with her medallion.

Read a lot of vampire stuff, rarely do they die or wound due to sunlight. This is a more recent addition in modern folklore. Relatively.

From Nitara's MKDA Konquest:
"The Vampire nation has existed for eons, and has traveled to many realms to feed on the blood of lesser species. Earthrealm has been an excellent source of food, but its sun emits a form of radiation that is quite harmful to vampires. As a result, vampires can only traverse to that realm for brief periods of time, and only to the hemisphere opposite the sun."

Unfortunately, there are several stages in Deadly Alliance on Earth with the sun out. For instance, the Wu Shi Academy. So in gameplay, this never actually applies.

I figured the odds of them covertly putting him in the game a few weeks before the release date were slim.

Sonya's kicks look really cool though. She is totally gonna be the female asskicker of this game.

God, Kitana's outfit looks ugly. I have not heard a damn thing about alternate costumes, but I hope she gets a cool one.

The story isn't interesting to me: Worlds are merging. We've had that before. Big deal. Nothing special there. It's gonna be another piece of shit story like Armageddon.

Well, all hope is not lost. Sonya seems very promising. And we might get more characters as downloadable content.

Yeah it looks lame to me and the joker at the end was lame but people will laugh at any thing that dumb character saids. Sonya does seem flawless.

Yeah thats what got me though Scorpion seems to be fighting alot of DC characters has anybody noticed that Superman,Captain Marvel,Batman (maybe since he appeared in front of him, and the Joker in that Screenshot we saw. Lol I hope we got 2 fight the characters more than once or some just scenes of action otherwise the MK side should just let Scorpion do all the work LOL

Quan Chi will probably play a similar role to Pyramid Head in Silent hill Homecoming. He's just there to please the fans, but you probably won't fight or play as him. Just another cameo NPC for the fans.

After watching the video I went from positively mixed view to just positive views. I think the video is outstanding and it really shows that they put MUCH more thought and effort into the game than just "hey lets make a crossover game in order to make more money and get a better fanbase!" It actually has a relevant story-line, it actually makes sense, and it fits into the Mortal Kombat university almost perfectly. Great stuff Boon, I can't wait to play this in a few weeks.

I think this was clearly stated somewhere in her Konquest or the Krypt info pics.



1.- I can't wait for Sonya either. They have made such a powerful justice to her character and fans that we hope they will never make the horrible mistake of taking away her amazing specials again...EVER!!

2.- Awww, well, hopefully the game manages to look better for you once its out. It might be awesome, even if you still hate the DC guys in there, which I totally understand.

3.- There are no alternate outfits as of now.

4.- Sindel, Mileena and Johnny Cage for DLC!!!!!!!
