I’m ecstatic about Kitana and Green Lantern being in the game, I just hope what IGN says is true and that Hal Jordan will be the one in the game. The Joker looks awesome, probably one of the best renders released so far, I’m glad he’s in the game. As for Jax I could care less, I just hope they don’t do the stereotypical thing and give him some “bling” and all. I’d like for him to be a much serious character, but in the end I don’t care as Kitana has finally been confirmed. Can’t wait for the render.

I’m also wondering how many females we will see per side. I’m assuming it might be 3. If that’s the case I hope they add a female character that debuted somewhere between MK3-MKDA. So far Sonya is representing MK1 and Kitana is representing MK2. Maybe we can get Sindel to represent MK3 if only three females are to be included. Even though I’m really, really hoping for Li Mei.

Well, can't say I'm happy about Jax being in. I'm pretty irritated about it actually.......UNLESS they fix him. They have GOT-to-FIX-JAX.

Make that man a real soldier already! Give him all his moves back like they did with Sonya, and for the love of everything holy, get rid of at least most of the stereotypical crap. I haaaaate that about him, and any other black characters on the roster..lol That's why I like Kai better right now.



Tone him down....Model him after like, Michael Jai White, John Parrish (MK2-T), Gregory McKinney (from the second MK movie) or something. Boots, Fatigues, Tank top or that ugly brown shirt that real soldiers actually wear in real life. Dog tags around the neck..

I'd take him without the over obsessive theme that says "big black guys are scary, and really strong". His size and physique should suggest that much, his moves should reinforce the suggestion.

That wave projectile and or his arm cannons, the ground pound, the gotcha grab (back-breaker), his scooter?-fist, multiple throws..ect All that stuff needs to be revamped.

And actually, why would he ever need a gun with the bionic arms? Go with the arm cannons again. Those are much cooler that the gun anyway. He should shoot.....hmm...He should actually be doing something similar to what they have Sonya doing in this game.

Anyway, I'm glad Kitana is finally confirmed. Who else would counter Wonder Woman?

I'm not even worried about Mileena, I think that if she's in, she'll be one of the last "cool looking" females that impulses people to buy the game just before release. *Sex Sells* remember?

I'm also pretty happy they finally confirmed Green Lantern(favorite DC character though I don't know "everything" about him. Not even close actually.). But which one? Hal Jordan or John Stewart? I'll take either. John over Jax though. If they do a render, I'm anticipating something good. *Outterspace, green aura, green beam from fist, lantern in hand*

I'm stoked (and relieved) that Tobias is back doing MK work. Let him effect the next game somehow though. A new character or two, an arena or two, couple characters stories or something. Doesn't need to touch it, just needs to oversee it.

Bloody, Scary, Fantasy Martial Arts Mortal Kombat again is the hope.

Don't really care that Palmiotti is hidden in the game. Though I'm still really confident in what he and the other writers can do for the story. Never doubted there....just don't care for what their writing cuz it's not canon stuff.

Bad resolution, but from what I can tell, I'm not really that impressed with her outfit. It's the same old ninja look rather than having something fresh and new like Jade's and Mileena's default costumes in MK:D. But the ninja bathing suit is her iconic look, so meh. I like her pony tail though. : D

Jax...meh. I'm in a gray area with their decision of him being put into the game. I mean he's ok, but they could have announced someone better like Raiden or Noob.

... Is it not reasonable to think that maybe that's an indication that there'll be other unlockable characters? Maybe even alternate skins?

To tell the truth.. I'm reasonably sure that was a joke on Boon's part and Palmiotti is NOT in the game. Infact, I'd be more likely to believe that it's a strong hint at Johnny's appearance in the game.
