Huh?...no no no. You all don't read carefully. The list HAS SMOKE AND NOOB ON THE SAME LINE.

What does that mean?, I don't know, but if you count those 2 as one(the way they have it in the mag), there are 10.

mabe.. and this is a hunch.. there is more than 2 alts for a char... think about it... and it could be noobs 3rd or 4th alt, or even scorps.. because it looks like scorp but kinda blackish gray with a diffrent mask... just my opinion.. and the thing about ken masters... hmm... its fishy... and well the other oni.. it was said in mk:da that there was 3 oni.. we where never introduced to the 3rd so it could be it...

I also think that people are getting their hopes up way too much over Smoke. I think the reporters were simply not sure if they were seeing Smoke or Noob, but since earlier sources have all said Noob's in the game, I wouldn't count on Smoke being there. I just translated the quote, that was all...

If these 2 aren't playable, then maybe they are enslaved as someone suggested; could they be dead? It would be poetic justice of Kahn getz hiz revenge.

Konqrr doesn't seem to have a disagreement about Smoke being in the game. He just said they weren't sure who the picture of the black/dark grey ninja was of.

Now, anyway, yeah, I've wondered about Kenshi and Scorpion as well. If Liu Kang's spirit is in the game, I guess this means that Shang Tsung is dead or weakened to a near-death extent. But if the Deadly Alliance is gone, what are Scorpion and Kenshi doing there.

Shang Tsung & Quan Chi should appear as ghosts you must defeat at one point in the game with bloody faces and bruises etc from there defeat in MKDA, and dont say how are you supposed to defeat a ghost, if Lui Kang returns as a spirit then there is your answer.

I don't really like that list. Don't like it at all. I fail to see the point of characters like Kabal being back when you have characters like Mavado and Cyrax rotting?

Skab sounds like a good idea for an Oni type, sorceror thing, but I hate the name. He'll go far in the game, though. My gut is Tanya killed Kitana and now Mileena is either in control of Edenia, or chasing after Tanya.

BTW, I think this list is possibily fake, seriously. Either that or there are many more characters to unveil. BTW Noob/Smoke implies to me that it's either Smoke or Noob in the game. To me that says Noob.

Smoke is probable not in the game. As I said in another trailer, Raiden is the next "obvious" or predictable character to get killed(instead of Kitana, who many think was going to); he is a main character that's in the game since the beggining of time, a god, and uses lighting...many people use it(not as fav, just use it), perfect character to be killed!!. Also, as soon I saw Ashrah, I had the feeling he was going down. I mean, she's a goddess(in some mythologies even Goddess of Lighting(HUH))and she looks really like him...well, I dunno, but when I saw Raiden I thought: "Huh?...Raiden shouldn't be there....it just does not fit." heh, well, I dunno. Sonya and her team should be out, letting Sektor and company get in da house. The character I still dont understand to be in there is Li Mei...mainly cuz of her weapons being Mileenas ones....even though I guess they could just change her weapon...well, we will all know soon enough.

Ok..I have to admit I am pissed about Tanya, Lui Kang, Lei Mei (which I told you it was her) and Bo Rai Cho returning and there being no Kitana, Frost, and Sonya!!! The rest is ok to me....but I hope they bump it to 30 characters to put more of our favorites in...as for the ken thing...if you bought the PSM with sub-zero on the cover, boon said that Ken/Ryu would be in it...santa clause...the easter bunny...and more and thats no deception.

I was not an april fools...he said he was not lying and was not doing any deception...they would infacxt have them in there

This game lack a little bit of STAR power, until now only scorpion and sub-zero are main draws.(maybe Raiden and Liu Kang but they are still not 100% confirmed)

Other then that its reject characters from MK3 and 4 and a bunch of ninjas.

They should have include one of the DA member(preferably Quan Chi) and at least 2 other major characters like Sonya, Kung Lao, Cage etc

Good news.About time they got rid of Quan Chi.I hated him then after he beat me 15 times in a row on MAX in MKDA I hated him even more.

What are you talking about, Quan Chi is badass... Hes the most successful and ORIGINAL characters from MK:M/MK:4. He should definitly survive the DA and move onto MK:D or a future installment. Hes one sneaky s.o.b.
