Cool vid, but does it tie-in to MK8 or MK3:Movie? If these vids are canon and tie-in to MK8, then the female in the car and the chick at the end could be new characters? I don't really know myself but, I guess we'll have to see.

The Predator" I notice quite a lot after that video. To be honest with all of you. These May be Real, I'm not one of those people that are always 100% Sure.

Did you notice anything?
The same Earth thing from the Website. And if you also notice that in the backround of the Mortal Kombat emblem. The Backrounds are both the same.
And Notice there was a Character Appearance at the end of both videos.
I'm not saying this is all completely Real. But saying these 2 Videos have a big Relation with each other.
Therefore, the it could be some kind of random clues about the Game. Or someone that is really good at making these things.

This is just what I think. It may or may not be correct. Oh yeah and also. Do you guys remember the older Logos Boon put up? Remember the part on the Second video where it zooms out of Earth? Didn't that look like those older Logos when while it was zooming out out of earth a bit? Let me explain. But do you remember the things that looked like eyes on the Noob.com before he put up the picture of the earth and Moon? Well yeah, It looks very similar to the part where it zooms out on video 2. Go watch it, and you'll see what I mean.

I like these videos, i would just perfer the person making them call them fan made so we don't have a bunch of noobs running around here and taking them as truth.

I can tell you now,I dont know if this is fake or not but the raiden clip and the girl at the end of the second trailer are without a shadow of a doubt rendered on the same engine.
Looks very much like unreal 3 to me having battered UT3 and gears of war that render looks like it was the same engine.
I think this is real and the moon plays a big part in the next mk.

Fake or not, I like watching these. Gets me even more hyped up about MK8.

Use logic noob.com has an earth and moon and so did that trailer.
Not fake and neither was the last one although midway denied it.
No such thing as a coincidence,count down begins then these trailers start showing up. laluna the ability to bend light and hiding in the shadows of an eclipse between the earth and the moon. Full moon is rumored to lead to increased murders on earth and increased aggression.

So it's logical to assume that something is real just because it contains common elements? That is completely ridiculous.

Let's just humor the video, though:

The moon seems to play a big part. Am I the only one who thinks Nitara? Maybe we'll see some kind of dark cult thing, or something. I don't know, but I think "Look to La Luna" is just a way of feeding the mystery, and a way of saying that the game will start over again.

An interesting aspect to the video is that when you zoom out, you leave Africa. Why Africa? You'd maybe think the United States, Japan, England or a country like that. It's probably nothing, though.

Didnt someone post on another mk site about a hooded female character who could bend light and who could turn transparent?

DArqueBishop has confirmed through his sources at Midway that the first video is a dud....And besides that, it was poorly put together. Very good for a fan video, but poorly put together for an advertisement for a Next Gen Mortal Kombat.

Cyberdog, you have a point however. Because truly leaked material, used to, and I image still would, lead to reprimands for employee's, and then, some crucial news about a product would be exposed....But as far as these vids are concerned, None has been. Why in blue blazes would a person who had real info on this game, "only" leak a 30sec video? They'd say something about a new feature, graphics, or gameplay, and there's nothing like that in either of these vids...Just leads me to believe further that the first vid more that this vid, was very good...but simply a fake.

About the first one's presentation....There's ways to look at images and video..things to look for, and tell whether it's full "photoshop job" or not. First, and mainly, you're looking for that "updated yet dated technology look". Like old computer graphics technology in a new movie....you can tell.

The first one is a full program oriented video .... this one is not.

This one has props(the car), a blue or green screen (the car isn't moving, light and images around the car are moving, simulating motion). Says that somebody is in a studio somewhere, big enough to fit a car (or peice of a car)in it...LOL

In this vid, there's also too much "light-ing" and shadow work going on to not have been at a location, recording with a camera to at least an extent. Otherwise you couldn't have the woman in the car. And that's a real human woman, with real human motions. Some "natural" things, you just can't capture with a program.....

In the first vid, the character at the end isn't moving, and even though it's raining ON HIM, not a drop splashes OFF OF HIM. Lol says that they moved a still picture of that individual around, and put the rain in front, or behind him.

Now, When I captured the frames of the lady at the end, I couldn't capture them all because She's actually Moving. Notably, her hood moves around too much. I think they put in the image where she looks right at you because, that's the only part in there that is of "unnatural motion"....every other movement she makes is in natural continuity though.

I also mentioned that there's a shadow of a dragon symbol on the hood of the car. THAT, could have been manufactured. But again, "lighting" effects the shadow, AND the girl inside the car...says that logically, they shined a light on her while sitting in the car. It's like flicking a light on and off repeatedly.

Also, look at how the strobe light effects the reflection of the man on the windshield(on the left, 0-5secs in). That could have been manufactured too...but again, it'd be easier, and cost less time and money, to just....have a guy stand there and record it with a camera.

Now, with all that, I still have skeptisms about this vid, but not the last one. Because of what I can draw from them, and because nothing has been confirmed.

And ultimately, I'm with McDaniel on the whole matter because at least we're making the people who are making these vids work harder to try and fool everybody. Lol

That's the funniest shit in the world right there cuz they could be spending whole days making these things, only to be found out as fake once they get to the actual MK fanbase.

It's just like I said to the Manollo guy...you gotta expect us to analyze these things to death...cuz it's the stuff that's in the games.

Good video efforts all things aside though...It's just Not Confirmed.

... that being said, if the guy would just POST that they're "fan made" trailers, I might be a tad more impressed.

If this is all production from the ground up, and not spliced elements of scavanged materials, this guy should be putting together something more cohesive. Trailers are fun and all, but come on. Make YouTube series out of it!

Yeah alot of people are hard pressed on the second video. I hope it is a viral marketing thing from Midway.....but maybe not. Even if both are fake it still helps the MK community talk about something and get them excited for MK8 (well me at least). If the second video is indeed legit and at the end that is Nitara.....then I'll be very happy to know that she will return in MK8 (I hope playable form). Can't wait to see the next video....weither it is real or not. Bring it on!!!
