D'ArqueBishop confirmed already that EdBoon.com is a clone of Manollo (the one that posted the "leaked" vid, that it's confirmed by Midway to be fake). It's another fake. And it's stupid that if it's a real vid related to Noob.com... in the website has ZERO references to any vid.

Hey I can understand the guy is just trying to start his own little viral hype for the game. The problem is that viral campaigns have a pay off, where as this one does not. We all ready know that we will find out about the game in April, so there isnt any point in "hyping" it with vague clues. These video's are not going to lead us to some sort of cool trailer, because these video's are fan made.

Besides, if Boon really wanted to do something cool like this for us, he probably would have worked something out with the moderators, so his account wouldn't get banned, and he wouldn't come off as an annoying troll.

I still have my doubts about them but whoever made them real or not should be applauded. I find it hard to believe the second vid is fake I mean come on its really professionally done. The car,the bird zooming out of the earth to the moon,ask yuorself this question. Does an amateur have access to filming equipment like that?, because that was shot with the style and swagger of an mtv music video.

according to DAB, Midway has denied them. But still, I agree that this guy has to be applauded for creating something that looks so genuine.

I wouldnt rule out ramstein making the theme song for mk8,after all adema did the song for deadly alliance.

I will admit, the fan trailers are nice, but they are in no way authentic. I just got done looking at some of the past REAL trailers, and all of them were exceptionally good, and all of them either utilized gameplay footage, CG rendered character teasers, or actors in Hollywood-level costuming. This, by comparison, is a good fan trailer, but its overall quality is, IMO, rather substandard professionally.

People keep asking how he could do these sort of videos, but really all you need is some good software and knowledge of the programs. I'm studying media art and animation right now, learning the ins and outs of 3D programs and movie editing software, and it's actually not that difficult to do. Time consuming, however.

My conclusion is that, yes, these are good fan-made trailers. Most fans certainly don't put that much time or effort into something.

However, I can't help but be resentful and disappointed that they were not labeled as "fan made" but rather as the authentic thing. I'll be honest here; compare the teaser trailer for Street Fighter IV or Soul Calibur IV to the trailers here and they're seriously lacking in substance. As a fan work, its fantastic; as a professional attempt, it's decidedly mediocre.

I wouldn't mind seeing more though.
