Yo would you do that, like the old times - kick sumbody's ass in front of alot ot people.I mean online is fine, but is far from the arcades.I personally like arcades better than online.I will play it if they release it for AR's.

Probably not. Why pay to play when I can play at home for free? Face it, online play is the new arcade in the US. Arcades officially died in the 90's. Only reason Capcom still releases SF in arcades is because they're still popular over in Japan, etc.

Hell no.
I'd rather make a one-time purchase and play it infinitely online than to shell out money on a per-play basis.
Then I'd either have to use gas or pay bus fare to get to the arcade, which is even more money.
Why rent when you can buy?

I would, i really like the arcades. I'm dissapointed every time i go to my local arcade and they have nothing new. I'm one of few, but i do enjoy the arcade machines more, not sure how to put it but its just better.

Yeah its that and .... its hard to put in words. I guess you would say how mysterious the game is. It takes so long to experience everything and makes it last that much longer and makes that quarter mean so much more. FInding easter eggs and learning the fatalities was so much harder wich in the end made it way more enjoyable to find them out. My anticipation to get to the arcades to see the next fatality or try something new was unbelievable. I can remember waiting at the front door of my favorite arcade for them to open so i could try UMK3 when it came out and beating it with scorpion on the first day, it was great. but to this day i can't tell you who i beat deadly alliance with on the first day, i could guess it was scorpion but i don't remember that moment. Arcades just rule, everything is amplified in the experience, and yeah its fun to really mess with your opponent and see their physical distress. you don't get that online!

To be honest, the current MK titles are not Arcade/Tournament material. Can you imagine playing MK Deception or Armageddon at the Arcade with that crappy, stiff fighting system? That would be an annoying experience.
About Me
I need a new sig, something with Kabal from UMK3 would be sweet. Just imagine that here

no one goes to arcades in America anymore. the days of new MK in arcades are dead, the days of arcades period are dead. no, I wouldn't considering I'm about to get LIVE.

If I saw it I'd play it, but the controllers would probably be broken or something.
Almost every arcade I go to has their fighting games messed up. I used to work at an arcade as game tech. They would question me when I tried to fix the fighting games.

I long for the days when I could stand within a huddled crowd around a machine looking at two people playing their best characters against one another with one thought in mind--win!
I miss the personal competitive atmosphere that really can only be appreciated in an arcade setting. Online is decent enough, but you can't get the same feeling out of the anticipation of waiting for your turn to go up against someone after putting your quarter up on the machine--studying people's tactics and thinking how you have the strategy to put them down. That's just my feeling. The cacophony of voices and sounds of the other games creating an air that you long for. Heh. Yeah, we'd probably spend twice if not three times what we'd pay for the game itself when it would come out on the home console, but those times were great.
I guess I would go to an arcade and play, but would I be the only one there? That's the question.

Sounds cool, but I don't think so now days.
I loved that atmosphere though.
I guess it would give me a reason to get out of the house besides the purely objective driven reasons I leave my home. hm...then I guess I don't know. I haven't gone to my old arcade in years though.
