Been listening to some weird Metalcore/Electronic hybrid bands:

Asking Alexandria
Abandon All Ships
Woe Is Me

Don't know why but their style is just so awesome. It's not the kind of stuff I normally listen to, I prefer much heavier stuff, but the catchiness and unique sound of these bands is awesome!

Next week I get my first paycheck under my new pay raise! I just got a huge pay increase because my department was downsized and I took on more responsibilities so my supervisor decided to compensate me more. It's awesome! Just in time for Christmas. I already had a pay increase last year too, but that one was much smaller than this one. Now I have to really learn to control my spending habits. I'm a compulsive spender, lol

MW3 is a shining example of repetition. Black ops on the other hand wasn't a generic COD. It tried something new and it was the better COD in my opinion. Black ops actually had a good story and had zombies return with new objectives and awesome easter eggs. The Multiplayer had an unprecedented level of customization and even added a dive function. I have to admit. Making my own emblem and having it show on my gun was so awesome. MW3 decided not to implement the customization for some reason.

My friend always tells me that work is a great place to meet women, but I work with a bunch of older people. I work for the public schools, and if anyone remembers their school days, they'll remember that almost everyone who works for the schools is older/middle aged. Even working in the tech department for the schools, everyone in my building is an older woman, and I mean OLDER, there's only 6 people in the entire building younger than 35 and only two of them are women, both of whom are engaged too. So in my case, work is not a good place to meet women. It seems like if only older people get jobs in educational settings, which sucks for me Maybe I should transfer somewhere ....just kidding, I like where I work, except for the fact that no one here knows what Family Guy is, and no one shares any of my interests in movies, tv shows, music, etc because I'm too young compared to them. When I asked for a day off last month to go to a concert and people I worked with asked me who I was seeing in concert, and I told them Three Days Grace, no one knew who I was talking about, except for the few people who are around my same age. It's not like if I said some obscure band like Salt the Wound or Beneath the Sky or something, Three Days Grace is the definition of mainstream rock. (Good show by the way). So I feel like I'm out of place sometimes, but it's ok.

Well at least it's abandonware right now...
