If you hate metal, then yes they suck. If you think you like metal, and you don't like Maiden, then you probably don't have a very good idea of what metal actually is. They pioneered alot of techinques and ideas that made modern heavy metal, and hard rock possible.

I would say that it is because of the type of people who like M.K.O. Most of the people here like rock and metal, and that is what the game mostly consists of.

I checked them out, they were pretty good. I was assuming they were one of those banda that the lyrics sound like a 3 year old yelling at his grandma over a pack of lost Pokemon cards.

Either way dude, i have to disagree:
If you're talking about the lyrics, then that's just weird because they were one of the only bands in the 80's that sang about things other than there personal problems.
If you mean by how Bruce sings, well he sings almost exactly like Rob Halford(Judas Priest), except imo Rob's voice has a indistinct twang that makes songs where he sings very fast almost impossible to find out the lyrics. Also, Bruce is from england so he does have a accent. IMO Bruce sings amazing, but you can have your opinons.

Not the lyrics no, that is the main reason I like the band, after the awesome bass lines. Just the actual pitch, tone, and especially the anunciation of the words. I don't dislike it by any means. It is hard to explain what I mean. I guess I just want to laugh every once and a while, when he hits certain notes. For example....Two minutes to *miiiiidnight!!!!* That always makes me laugh very hard. I love the song, but I also think it is kinda...I dunno "flamboyent" from time to time. A lot of metal bands make me feel that way though. The fact is that almost everything in the 80's had a cheesy flair to some degree. Also Maiden was around in the late 70's fyi.I'm not hating on them, I'm just pointing out some of the flaws of their style.

oh, ok i didn't care anyways 5animals, i just wasn't sure what you meant. I have to agree, their lyrics and Steve's amazing bass ability are two huge reasons why i like them so much.
Bruce's voice does at times sound funny,i'll agree with that. I still love his voice, i like the funniness.

Very cool. I like the use of classical instruments, mixed with more modern stylings. I wish I knew what the hell they were talking about though :-/ Very good musicianship none the less.
