If you don't mind me asking why is it that in some cases you have a character winning 6-4, yet in other battles you have the total 8-6?

So, there's not limit to be reached?Like in that other thread I think the first to reach 5 votes advances, in my thread it's 6.Yours it seems to be random.

Anyway, just figured I'd ask example here man :Cannonball vs. Noob it was 6-3 cannonball

in the recent match it was 8-6 Gambit

the limit is different in different matches.

There is NO limit to be reached. If there were only 4 votes in one battle, then I would at least need to have one more vote to proceed to the next battle. There is no MAXIMUM amount of votes. I just need atleast 5 votes to proceed.

I just had an idea that could have made these battles more fair, as far as it's applicable anyways.

I remembered that some of the X-Men have been in fighting games, so instead of thinking of their comic selves, think of how their video game incarnations would do against any of the MK crew.

That way they are more or less limited in terms of the range of their power just like the MK characters are.

We seem to see a MK character, and notice that they have maybe 4 specials at their disposal, and we assume this is the range of their abilities. But it's probably not the case, it's just the video games limitations, whereas the comics have no limitations but the imaginations of the creators.

But as I recall, the awesome power of the X-Men is much more modest in the fighting games they are featured in.
