Kind of nice, but it looks like you tried way too hard.

And I don't think there's an industry, dude. Otherwise, these people that are doing the quality work on here would be getting paid.

I can't rate fakes well as I honestly don't understand what it takes to be bad or great. So, I'll just say that it's hard to tell wtf Su Zero is doing amidst all the hooplah.....

You don't make masterpieces. In order for something to be a masterpiece public opinion of it must be so. Public opinion seems to suggest that very few people consider you stuff good, and none believe them to be flawless. Therefore, you have never made a masterpiece and your 'next' one will, in fact, possibly be your only. However, as it will probably be on par with the rest of what you have created, I doubt that it will be the masterpiece you proclaim it to be.

you over-did it with the lightning, whatever you have sub-zero and sektor doing its too hard to see, (looks like their trying to have some rough ass sex in the air imo) as well as whoever is fighting sonya.

Did your ego swell up by bumping your own thread? On another note, to my knowledge that alone is forbidden in the Fan Submissions. However I cannot validate this right now, but consider this....should it happen again it gets closed. That is, if it is according to the rules.

Fakes looks barely average with the rain mesh over it. Coo on the movie spoof, but thats barely enough.

I dunno, it was more of an update than a bump. Since it is the best fake in the industry, I thought it'd be worth it.

but its not the best fake. in fact the kid who keeps trying to make in the eyes of scorpion fakes (who by the way sucks at making imrpovments) is probably better than this pic. lolX10

He's got a point there. Any fake with Sektor butt-raping Sub Zero in mid air with a crowd of robots looking on is a top fake in my books!!

Considering you chose to bump it by replying to a comment made by a user who no longer visits the forums, and since you already said you'd make a better version of it half a year ago, the "update" was not necessary.

Not the best in the "industry."

#1: This not a fake. Fakes are attempts at imitating screenshots. This is a collage of sprites and photoshop effects. You could call this a 'scene' if you really wanted to give it a name.

#2: This sucks. You mix 16 and 32-bit sprites and graphics on a whim and your effects are dull and repetitive. Your sense of perspective is beyond awful, as the top and bottom of the scene are seen at the same perspective as the middle. Also, this is just a cut and paste job, which makes it to easily made to be considered good at any rate.

#3: There is no industry. An industry constitutes widespread commercial joint-ventures based on the manufacture of a single good or service. Creating fakes is neither widespread, nor commercial, nor are multiple people getting together and hiring workers to create fakes for them.

Yea that one got scrapped for my current superior version - much more pleased with it. Who knows maybe I'll also post the older revision 3 just for kicks. Sometimes it's just so hard remaking the Mona Lisa of the fake industry.
