Very disappointed in Quan Chi's MKDA alt being used. Hasty recycling of his planned MKDC model without thought to its proper place, is my bet. Seriously, that's just a gigantic oversight.

It's probably similar to Sonya's Dive Kick, but with ice effects. Maybe some differentiation in properties. I'm thinking of a diagonal ice slide.

I'm still confused about the story mode. So Predator Zero is official and all. What I don't understand is from the reformatted story script is considered everything. I'm not entirely sure, but didn't someone mention the demo we got last week was from the e3 build or the august pax build? Like there was some stuff missing in the krypt, but most of it was there.

The script was twenty seven pages of just dialogue pasted together. For a game supposedly "5-6 hours" in story mode(including fights and cutscenes?) Doesn't it seem barebones or just I dunno a tad short. There's no way a 27-page script(not the original I know) could account for that length of cutscenes. I might be wrong. It just seems odd to me that's all. Edit:I know kind of off-topic, but still related to spoilers.

I wish whoever made this would have scrolled over so we could see full shots of the newer characters. I wanted to see Sheeva and Smoke...

I realized a long time ago that most of these character select icons look weird. I don't know if its because they're so small or because they're forward facing... Oh well. As long as things look good in gameplay I'm okay with that.

Man the one thing I don't like about the Cyber Sub-Zero pictures is that it's what I would've liked to have seen Smoke's automated form become. It looks quite awesome.

Even though people are going to hate on the concept of the character, I still think people are going to be at least interested in trying him out.

The actual fights you play through account for a good chunk of the running time of a story mode.

The leaked script is close enough to the same number of chapters and fights per chapter that the MK and DC sides combined of MKvsDCU's Story Mode were, and that takes about 6 hours to run through too.

Did anyone notice kratos is missing? This is the ps3 version.

Those slots don't belong to Cyber-Sub, those are the two boxes that you select hidden characters and DLC from. Cyber Sub is just who's currently brought up on them.
Goro, Kintaro, Shao Kahn, Kratos, etc. should all be selectable from he same two boxes.

Once again, at the bottom of the screen there are arrows in a golden color, pointing in the opposite direction, indicating that there are two avatars that rotates to other characters.

There is nothing to over speculate about Kratos' avatar missing.

Other than that, pretty 'meh' select screen. Shoulda animated it / the portraits...

Makes sense then. I never played MKvsDC, only scrolled through the story mode on youtube. Each side was about an hour a piece, so like two hours of cutscenes, which is long for a fighting game. Appreciate clearing that up Razor. I just want to see it instead of reading it, alot of dialogue is easy to infer about the scene, but some events are hard to pick up on.
