I think people have stopped asking for playable bosses for a while now.

We've gone back to the roots, and bosses weren't playable in the original games. It was part of what gave them their "cool" factor.

Freddy and Jason, if it's true, happening as a Halloween promotion makes sense and it's not like it would be canon, so there's really no harm.

Holiday promotions are just meant to be fun.

If they were to be DLC, i'd just go "meh", and skip past them and buy kenshi and skarlet instead.

The more I think about it, the more I think they would work better as their own series of challenge tower-type missions and just leave it at that.

You know what? Why not make a completely seperate fighting game consisting entirely of slasher/horror characters? You know, Freddy vs Jason, Michael vs Pinhead, etc? Please focus only on MK characters for DLC.

This will most likely never happen. However, growing up in the 80s/90s, I have always been a huge fan of Friday the 13th. I always thought Jason was such a bad ass, especially his part VII version...he was a freaking beast in that movie. As the years have gone on, though...its gotten cheesy.

So anyways, I would definitely be all for seeing a Freddy/Jason DLC pack. The possibilities for their opening/winning animations and their fatalities/xrays would be enormous.

That being said, I understand why a lot of people don't want to see this type of stuff. There are already a bunch of MK characters that did not make it in this game and they should be given priority. Also a lot of people think that this is just useless fluff that doesn't fit in and doesn't add anything to the existing storyline or lore. As far as I am concerned, though, I would be very pleased if this were to happen (which it almost assuredly won't).

Because Mortal Kombat is a fighting game and being a monster can only get you so far.

Well if nothing is said at E3 with anything related to MK then I won't believe it but that would be cool.

Yeah, I want to see this. Jason would look goofy as hell moving really fast and jumping though. Freddy is probably more suited to a fighting game, and his dream powers could make for awesome special moves and fatalities.

Why wouldnt you want them in ? Any new content is welcome. I dont give a fuck if its the Wiggles, as long as they have fatalities and play different from other characters, bring it on.
