Smoke looks like FUCKING SHIT. Coming from my heart, he does not look like a ninja. Take malfoy's dad from harry potter and put him in MK and that is what smoke looks like. FAIL BY NRS. These horrific ninja designs just force me to draw my own MK ninjas and post them online to show NRS what is up. Didnt have to do it for smoke since smoke already has that awesome fanmade render. lets hope MK9 smoke looks better than that fanmade smoke. Cuz if NRS doesnt, i think those artist at NRS should get fired. So far scorpion, sub, ermac, and noob look great, but reptile needs work.

I would much rather have him look original then just look like a copy and paste of Sub or Scorpion.

I won't say I love it or hate it, but I can say that I'm unhappy. Smoke is the one character that I imagined looking very much like his classic outfit.

Ermac's a telekinetic. Does he need to look like a mystic? No, but a mystic theme suits his powers. Sub-Zero can shoot ice. Does he need to wear cold colours? No, but it suits his powers.

Sometimes the outfit compliments the powers, and in this case I cant see why Smoke would have the power to be self concealing at will, yet deliberately draw attention to himself with that hair when he's not using it. It'd be a lot more suitable for a stealthy assassin to wear garbs that actually conseal his identity, rather than depend on his powers to do it all the time.

No that wasn't what I was getting at. What I was saying is that he could wear what he wants since he isn't in trouble of being detected.

While you might disagree I think long hair complements him perfectly. Smoke has smoke coming out of him at all times and the white hair I think will provide a nice contrast. Plus having a character with a teleport attack and long hair would look great if done right.

I like ermacs redesign (no classic mask), same with rain. and the ones with the mask still like noob sub scorp and even reptile look wayyyyyyyy better than that.

As for finding bad things about everything? uhh no everything in this game was nearly perfect. theres everything bad about smoke looking like that. It looks like a G.I. Joe gone C.O.R.P.S. ! (props to whoever gets that reference). or better yet its like Diablo from Primal Rage wearing a dress. Get this shit out of this game. I swear if that mop is in this game I will refuse to unlock him and allow him on my character selections screen.

Uhhh, hi? Did I miss the point where NRS said "That guy with the long hair? That's Smoke" This is an awful lot of assumption based on a picture with no description. Is everyone just completely disregarding the screencap from Raiden's gameplay video now? Wasn't that Smoke just a week ago?

im sorry to pick on your comment, but has everyone forgot how horrible the hair looks in this game. Smoke is one of my most anticipated characters, and while i don't hate the concept of the hair, i cannot overlook the poor excuse for hair this game has shown us, (so far at least). It could ruin his entire costume.

Im going to save my reservations until we see the looks in detail. Not only is it blurry, but its battle damaged.

The still pics look bad, but in game it seems fine not great. I do agree after watching the kratos trailer a couple times. Smoke definatly won't have his hair reacting to his teleport.

That was Smoke in Raiden's gameplay video but he was in his classic costume, he will also have a primary and secondary. But ya, they never said this was smoke, it's just an assumption.

We don't know if that was Smoke in Raiden's gameplay. People are just assuming.

According to the leak, he has NO classic, so the likelihood of the gray ninja in Raiden's vid being him, is not very high.

Hmmm... well it could of just been absent from the leaked data file, or it could just be his alternate. If they did just take a classic costume, pallet swap it grey, and say it's a character besides smoke, I'd call shenanigans.

If that is smoke well imho I don't like it (sure it may grow on me), but why can't they just go with/similar to his MK:SM costume, the best for smoke imo.
