I don't know.....it looks slightly ugly. Weakest render so far in my book. But yeah, this is starting to look more in-game. The ice-ball should show some more lightening and sparkle effects.

Super Man is the worst so far

Sub Zero looks great though not as great as Scorpion . Besides these are just renders which is not the version when you play the game ...

Not bad! I wonder if this is a deliberate shift in the design, or if we're seeing the beginning stages of an alternate outfit emerging. The mask is the first thing that jumps out at me, recalling more recent versions rather than the characterless throwback in the trailer.

Still don't like that Sub-Zero and Scorpion look so similar, but I suppose this has softened the blow to some degree. He looks a lot less Nike now, too.

Aheh, the costume design is good, maybe just a tad too cluttered for my taste. But the graphics suck though.

Again, looks too in-between an in-game cutout, and a rendered character graphic to really be accurately criticized.

Overall I don't like the picture, but I like how Sub-Zero is re-designed.

And Superman is still the worst one so far.

Okay,considering that my favorite Sub-Zero design of all time is the standard MKDA once (AKA Old Man Subs),very closely followed by the standard MKD one (AKA Shredder Subs),there is a number of things I would like to bitch about.

-It's hard to say with his mask on,but he seems way too young. The Dragon Medallion was supposed to have aged him significantly in return for the increased power,and it showed in MKDA.
-The eyes. Throughout MKDA and MKD,they have been losing their color,turning completely white in MKD due to him wearing both the Medallion and the cryomancer armor at the time and getting to a ridiculous power level as a result. What happened to that?
-Speaking of,where the shit is the Medallion?
-The shoulder pads have seriously got to go. I love Shaolin Monks and all,but they don't look good. At all.

Other than that,I like it. The mask design in particular looks quite interesting.

There's something... effete about them, somehow. They don't look as powerful (both in physical size and design-wise) as they did in the past few games. There are certain elements about the design that I like, but does anyone else get the sense that they're a bit overdressed (for lack of a better term)? It seems like there's too many embellishments to the costumes. I dunno. I hope these are just alts.

Of course, this is all based on very early renders that aren't in-game, so I'll reserve judgment until we get some crisp screenshots. I've already come to grips with with the whole MK vs. DC concept, which I was not thrilled about initially. I look forward to seeing more art/screens so we can get a better idea of what to expect.

I had my problems with Superman's render but I like this one. The texturing on his cowl looks particularly good. I think I like his alt from MK:DA more but this is really not bad. Though, for the love of God, use these textures in the damn game!

Agreed, for Sub-Zero anyway. My fav so far has to be Scorpion's. I noticed the mask changed and his scar is indeed there. There, happy now "scar fans"? lol....

I like the graphics tbh. And this Sub-Zero design is just making my mouth water. He might be the first person i use, for the MK side.

Equates to my "clutter" claim. Yea....feels like there's something wrong with the way they did them. More like an excellent fanart more than anything else.
