Boy, I need to update this thing.

ATTENTION PLEASE!

This is sort of a notice to all. I can't get on the MIDWAY boards for some reason. I mean, I can't log in. I've tried everything too. From sending myself my password and all that, to just trying to create a new one. Nothing works, even though everything on the site goes through the motions it's supposed too. Like, when I send myself my login stuff....no email comes.

My name (which is the same as here on MKO) and password do not log me in. When I put my information in, it gives me the default message:

"The credentials you provided are invalid. Please try again."

Even though I use the same stuff to log in fine over here. I also, cannot contact a mod or something over there to help with the problem. And again, I've gone through all the motions.

There's nothing I can do at this point so, this thread will be the source thread for the MKast questions until something can be figured out.

--PS: I'm sure I never violated a rule over there, but even so, I hope I'm not banned or blocked or something. What would be nice is if someone who can get in contact with a moderator over there, could give them a nudge for me please? See if they'll send me an e-mail or something to let me know what's up:

Copy and paste my user tag from here if you need to, in order for them to find me. It is exactly the same.
===================

Anyway, update coming soon....

Sent a message to Sheyla and Cinder and MK_Nat...
when I get a reply, I'll tell you...

Anyway, my question is: Will those mindblowing cutscenes from the story mode be accesible through an "extras" feature, rather than playing the game over again just to see them?

And this is a good question so it gets my support.

I skipped right over this because I couldn't read//see it. Please don't take offense to me saying something to you because there's nothing "wrong" with you doing that. I don't "have a problem with it" in any real way, but if I can't read what you have to say, I question why you write it.

Anyway, this is a good questions too though.

Okay... here's another question: Will Deathstroke use the sword as his primary style?

i support this, but I'm just generally curious on deathstrokes style, will he shoot /use guns? how "ninja" will he be since he is suppose to be the "ninjavillian" eluded to earlier on noob.com i think. What sort of "classic moves" would we see from him since he does not have superpowers in comparison to superman's more visual abilities? etc...

Sorry Pred. I wasn't aware some people couldn't read the smaller font.
It looks just fine and readable on my monitor. My apologies.

I finally got around to listening to MKast5, and I couldn't help but notice that Hanz said that he was going to Moscow to do an event there. I'm actually curious about how that turned out, for when he comes back.

Just as a bit of an exposition, I used to live in Russian, and although it was 10 years ago, back then, Mortal Kombat was the absolute video game. Every single person who even touched a video game, played Mortal Kombat. In fact, around my circle of friends, we had all the combos, fatalities, brutalities, everything memorized for each character for UMK3. It was really THE video game everyone played, so obviously it had a HUGE impact on the gamer culture in Russia.

So, because of that, I'm curious about how this event in Moscow went. I'd love to hear a bit about it on the next MKast.

Here is few questions I have about online play.

1) Comparing to the other MK games, how will online be played? Will there be multiple people in a match like UMK3 for X-box live? Or will it just be a simple one on one?

2) How will cheaters and quitters be treated during online play?

3) Will there be voice-chat support for the PS3 version?

Have you considered monochroming, silhouetting, and/or camera angle as a form of censorship to allow blood heavy Fatalities like Sub-Zero's Spine Rip and Kano's Heart Rip to pass the Teen rating, or is this more a case of DC being anxious about the concept of it's star players missing body parts?

I want to know if they'll try to crack the Japanese market with the game. Improved gameplay+crossover might get them interested, if marketed right. At least Yoshinori Ono of SFIV wishes Boon luck.

I don't know if this is a question so much as a request, but I guess it serves as both.

I really miss, and wish Jax's "Gotcha" grab was brought back.
Will it be in this game?

Should be a little bit more than a week away. Hope they don't do another Mkast by then, so they can tune in again.

hey boon and company, will you guys ever produce a mk game or mkvdc game like this that ends up in the arcades or has the times changing made that possibility extinct?

When some wild-eyed, eight-foot-tall maniac grabs your neck, taps the back of your favorite head up against the barroom wall, and he looks you crooked in the eye and he asks you if ya paid your dues, you just stare that big sucker right back in the eye, and you remember what ol' Jack Burton always says at a time like that: "Have ya paid your dues, Jack?" "Yes sir, the check is in the mail."

Jack Burton supports this question, as well as provides his own...

My question, and I apologize if it's already been addressed: Should downloadable content be a possibility, would you release things on an individual basis or would you be inclined to release "packs" of DLC? I know it may be too soon for you to answer, but if you could, that's great.

Based on the new screenshot at noob.com, the in-game cinematics will have subtitles. Will there be an option to turn them off? There definitely should be.
