Uh, yeah he does, actually. When spammed over and over in a specific fashion, his ground pound doesn't allow for ANY recovery time. Thus, infinite.

LOL !
Is this what happens when high level leaves MKO ?
feels weird posting here lol, i had no idea mko had a small online community, ill try and hit this site up a little more.
anyhow, Jax most definetly doesnt have an infinite lol, that was kind of funny. grin

He does, dude. No recovery time means infinite. Jumping and tech-rolling out of the way isn't possible if someone keeps spamming it. He has the same problem as Superman, Superman just got more attention because he's more popular. End of discussion.

If you end this discussion now, you will be naive for the rest of your playing day's. Jax doesnt have an infinite, there isnt even a 1% possibility that he might have one...

You've got to be kidding me. What are you even basing this on?! These four are all quite easy to beat. Not domiNANT by any means.

To be honest, it makes me sad, it makes me really sad how the community on MKO would become this...

listen, im a big advocate when it comes to helping those who dont know, its only nature that a person is naive about a subject before they learn...

Green Lantern, Flash, and Raiden are the three best characters in the game, I want to help you understand this very much, believe me...

Picture the movie scene from the matrix, do you want to take the blue pill ? or the red pill ? ... My gamertag is BMF_KRAYZIE_BONE on PSN and BMF KrayzieBone on X-BOX, send me a messege, i would be more than happy to teach you the basics, the choice is yours, be the prey of this game, or learn to be the predator...

:BONE

I've only seen one Raiden user that beat me and that was the first day I had the game.

Green lantern gives me a hard time if I'm using Baraka. With the constant barrage of projectiles, hammers etc... It's hard to get close, but depends who's playing of course.

It's my own fault for not wanting to stay away, throwing fireballs all day. I like to rush in after 2 or 3 fireballs. It gets me countered a lot.

Most people are pretty easy to beat using anybody but flash though, from my own experience. I'm not a great player either, maybe a little above average.

Did you try BHoS's recommendation? Because if you haven't then you shouldn't be calling it an infinite when there's a tactic that works to counter it.
Even if you don't get it the first time, practice makes perfect, so just keep trying.
Like someone else said here (albeit with harsher language), just because you cannot beat it doesn't mean it's unbeatable; all you need to do is find a way to stop it, even if it means trying a style of gameplay that differs from what you normally do when you play.
krayzie, red, have patience with them, as they're still learning the ropes. Now I wish I had the games to play online... Or a system that can go online for that matter. sad

Krayzie and Red need to stop with this "holier than thou" tone. I'm not some naive online noob who doesn't know how to play the game or escape situations, as to which LeoBrz81 can attest. I don't know where you got that notion from, but you're quite mistaken and foolish to assume a position of superiority when you know nothing of whom you are addressing.

And yes, Jerrod, I've tried BHoS's recommendation while it was happening. No good. Which is why I keep reiterating that it is an infinite. Zero recovery time, people. Zero. None. As in you can't do shit before the next one hits.

I don't think many people know about this because not many people use Jax, especially online.

If you do get a system, get a PS3, through my experience the PS3 remote was the better one, i didnt like the 360 remote very much.

Naive is having or showing a lack of experience, you obviously cant escape Jax's Ground Pound, thus you are naive.

Noob ? you are a newb to high level gaming, infact, you havent even been introduced to it yet, you dont understand the game because you are stuck with a credulous mindset that involves " you dont know me ! i know what im talking about ! " when you obviously dont even know who I am...

I have never played you, yet I have enough credibility to say, I can beat you, no this isnt a " im holier than you" type of situation, its more of a "I want to help my fellow community member who is obviously at a loss when it comes to judgement towards the game's basic gameplay".

like I said, I love to help people get better, my last student is currently the best player on MK8... go figure wink

well we talk as we do cause in reality u are not on our level when it comes to playing this game. We can say this cause we both have been able to jump out of jax's 2nd ground pound attempt.

jax's ground pound does not have a pro move, u just do dd4, dd4,dd4 with superman u can jump away same as jax.

so the issue is you do not no how to perform quick recovery. So you can listen to us and learn, or be stubbon and give people false information. the choice is yours, and i will have no problem proveing everything you say wrong.

i will talk like im holy, because you have people here saying kano is broken, and jax is broken.

fact is top 4 guys in the game are

flash
green lantern
superman
raiden

instead of saying no they arent , ask yourself why are these the top four, and the reason you will not come up with the correct answer is cause you really dont understand what high level play means.

And so he continues with the condescending tone. You don't even know me and still think of me as some kind of inexperienced player. Great perspective there, chief.
Not being able to escape an infinite is not a sign of naivety. It's called a glitch. As a so-called "high-level gamer", I'd expect that you'd know that.
Frankly, I don't give a rats ass about your so-called "high-level gaming." I'm a decent casual player, not one who makes a life out it. But I recognize an inescapable infinite when I see one.
With that said, I am at this point done with this conversation. It's my word versus yours. You obviously don't know me nor my ability, and still make these inaccurate assumptions. I can only hope that you learn some perspective and develop better judgment. Because as evident from your replies, you're obviously lacking it.

Well, as evident from your last reply you show inexperience, Jax does not have an infinite, its not even a notable assumption, thus my supposition regarding your irrelavant hypothesis makes you a person who lacks perspective towards the game.

depicting from the replies you have given me, I can make a clear judgment for you, you are not a decent casual player, you are a casual player who represents inaccurate assumptions about the game, instead of poisoning this community with lies and imaginary opinions you so call facts, try and listen for once.

Im not telling you to give in to spectacle opinions, im giving you facts, and a chance at proving me wrong if your ingenious remarks are for some reason valid, which of cource is not the case here.

Given the validity of my statements, and my experience as a gamer who understands high level play, i have a better understanding of this game, have been a MKO member for year's, thus making this more my world than yours.

I left a high level community, and returned to find inexperienced newbs depicting the game from inapplicable sources, its a sad day for Mk today, and i will do everything in my power to help them out of this gaming slump.

Dude, the Jax infinite your talking about takes too much time to be considered an infinite. There's alot of opportunity to react to the thing. Depending on who you're using against him, you can jump, teleport, or even throw a projectile at him and it'd work.

The animation itself is long *waay high, and then all the way down to the ground*. Hell, anytime any character gets in the air it's a great opportunity to punish them. Who are your playing with when this happens, and what's your general reaction to it?

It sounds like you just keep getting caught up in the thing. I agree with them on this one, Jax does not have an infinite. Superman is closer to to the point you're making.

You were using Liu Kang too right? I remember that whooping, I couldn't do shit. Getting used to the controls and I didn't know all the moves. Don't know if you noticed me trying to learn your patterns.

Yea, that was me, my psn is thunderstorm-fam. PM me on psn so we can fight again. Yes, you did seem to learn and adapt. This game is complex, so knowledge of all the moves and knowing when to implement them is crucial.
You know if there is a trick to make Raiden duck before throwing a fireball after charging? I've had it happen a few times but on accident. I can't figure out exactly how to do it.

I'll be charging the db+1 or db+2, as soon as I let go to throw the fireball, he crouches for an instant then throws the spark.

It comes out at random if I do db+1, release 1 then mash down+1+3 quickly before he tosses it. I got it on video...

I don't know if that's the right command, I'm just mashing buttons to see what's causing it.

[EDIT] i just saw your video.
I figured it out and put how to do it on the video. It's a glitch with the looping animation. You just have to release button right when the body animation loops as he charges.

Jax's ground pound is not an infinite.

When he knocks you down with the first one and you're laying on the ground, press down and back at the same time (if your char rolls you did it wrong) then you're able to get up and press up to jump before the next one lands.
