Eric Jacobus had told me this some days ago but here is something a bit more concrete.

That's a matter of opinion I don't necessarily share and frankly I'm a little sick of the number of people in this community who act like "Cary was the definitive Shang" is some kind of law that everyone has to believe in.



I liked the Tekken film a hell of a lot better than I like any of the games 'cause it ignored the "devil gene" crap and got rid of all the slapstick comedy like sentient bears and Chippendale dancer outfits.

Everyone looks fantastic imo.
Except for Sub-Zero. What the fudge happened there?

BTW, according to Eric Jacobus there are other characters to announce, so Sonya, Jax, Kano and Goro might be still there!

Both pics are pretty great. I have just some minor problems.

sub-zero: on the 2nd pic he looks better, but I've got to him in better quality.

scorpion: really great. actually I would have liked to see him with one of the games masks, but I dig this one more and more I look at it.

kitana, kenshi and stryker: perfect

shang: nice, but I would have appreciate some more hair on his head. Nice to see his old stance in hte 2nd pic.

mileena: pretty ok, but her hair is badly styled. wished she would looked more like in MK9.

ermac: well, he looks nice, but more like noob. Don't understand why he got the hood and such a dark oufit when it would fit more to noon.

johnny, liu and kung lao: nice, a bit diffrent than the game designs but nothing bad with it. Kung lao's hat should have been black, would look a lot better.

Raiden: well, this is the only one I kinda don't like that much. He looks more like kano, than any of the other raidens from games and movies/tv shows. I really hope David Lee McInnis can deliver a good preformance as raiden .

And I am extremely disappointed in zombie Ermac. I can't give full judgement until I actually see him in the series, but based on this picture alone this is by far my least favorite incarnation of him. He looks like a trick or treater on a budget...

Like johnny1up said, that Ermac/Noob Saibot guy could also be Quan Chi (his face is painted white after all). I hop it's not Ermac, I want a "mummy Ermac" with more red color. MKD Ermac would be perfect!

Hope to see Mileena wear a mask (Kitana too, at some point at least).

Some characters look far too departed from their game counterparts. Kang, Ermac and Raiden are kinda bleh to me.

Kitana looks real pretty. Is this the whole cast? No Jax or Sonya this time around?

Gotta say I'm really disapointed in the way Ermac looks, as he is one of my favorite characters.

What was Kevin thinking?

While I like how Ermac looks, I'm not exactly sure why they picked that look for him. As it has been stated, it looks more like Noob Saibot, so if they ever decide to use Noob Saibot in the series, I'm not sure what they'd do to make him look significantly different.

Not sure why Kevin would even change up Ermac's look that much. Maybe it will be different with all the video editing and added effects.

Noob Saibot has had plenty of great looks throughout the years. They can use one of those.

And this look really fits Ermac's character more than the standard Red ninja.

Kitana should have Mileena's hair style. Kitana always had the long hair. They should both be wearing masks also.

I like Sam Thjia for this web series thing, but I would like to see a different actress portray Kitana in the upcoming movie. Someone much hotter. Sam Tjia is like 20 years old, good age to play Kitana, but Sam does not have that exotic beauty trait that Kitana is supposed to have.

Ermac looks way TOO different and I feel that only people who research will know that it's supposed to be him, but they've got Eric Jacobus as Kurtis Stryker so that's BAD ASS!

much hotter than Sam? a) she is stunning; b) she has that regal beauty; c) this isn't the WWE with all their fitness models :/
