I think Tag-Team Kombat will fucking rock!!! But Motor Kombat mode still seems to be cooler though...

I have some more ideas for mini games in the future.

1. How about we have a mini game that requires you to perform a kata....correctly.

Every character has their own kata already, instead of us just watching them all the time, we input the correct button sequences to perform the kata. Some of them look pretty cool.

A character may be required to pick up a weapon during this process and add it into thier kata, or maybe even multiple task are in order which could lead into a first person shooter type of situation.

Ex. Knife throwing is not out of the question for some MK charaters.
(we have plenty of ninjas)

A couple other different kinds of ideas for mini game spin-offs'

Ex. Nightwolf may have a kata that requires him to use his bow and arrow. To hit targets in the far away scenery. Think like the part in MKSM when you had to hit the sliding stone warriors to get to Reptile. That was hard and you had to use your characters natural fighting style to hit all of the stone warriors while standing in that circle. This idea would require quickness and accuracy.

Ex. Characters like Sonya, Stryker or Jax might use a hand gun in their kata. To characters like these I say: Take the movie "Equillibrium" as an example. Remember the gun kata in that movie?

These could even have a time limit associated with them to make it harder on you. I don't reccomend being able to control the level of difficulty though. If anything I'd use "Spartan: Total Warrior" as an example for level of difficulty, where as you complete a task, it gets noticably harder..and harder..and harder due to circumstance and button input sequences. It may even get faster too.


2. In following, according to the first person shooter ideas out there, You could be required to complete small missions in this mode(or even a separate mini game) that would have you eliminate "minions" of sorts according to your alignment. A character like Baraka might aim to take out humans/people, a character like Goro might take out centar's (I know, I know the whole Motaro thing) and anyone associated with "good" and visa versa.

In a mode like this I wouldn't be against multiple types of weapons though, as one individual in this game should be more skilled than the main weapon they used. Whatever main weapon they use should be the only one for the kata ideas above.


Now, Rewards for #1.

Rewards should be relative to the following:

1. Fair!! = 50-75-100 currency of some type
2. Good!! = 250
3. Excellent!! = 500
4. Fantastic!! =750
5. Supern!! = 1000

And so on and so forth according to the MKSM combo meter and the guy with the "Fatality" voice as the kata gets tougher and more indepth.

Rewards for #2.


Depending on who you take out and how they are dispotioned to your first person character. More or less a reward according. Boss type characters would grant you more of a reward of course.

3. One other thing I thought about after I posted this that I'll add is enviornmental incorporation. I mean, when you perform your kata you're not liable to stand still right? So, what about like a "chi" bar that would allow you to break things around you for further reward. Your chi bar fills up and maybe some sort of highlight on that certain part of the body (a limb like a your head, arm or leg depending on the character and their kata.) This would allow you to break stones, benches, wood piles, irraticate punching bags, ect. This "chi" bar could also allow for more ellaborate examples of that given characters powers too.

Take Raiden here for example. He is obviously not a maxed out character right? Well things like that electric shield seen in the opening fmv of MKDA could be perfomed in this "mode" or "mini game". To show the power capable of any given character. We got a sort of preview of a Raiden type kata in the extras you found in the graveyard. It was one little 30 sec video. But control and exploit that. See? Just another way to exploit each characters potential, and show and tell us more about out favorite characters.

You might, in the process of all this, scare off birds in the background or amaze an on-looking crowd of a small few. (Masters of that particular art or whatever) Just to give it more of a "wow" factor.

kreate an ending. Sonething where you can take pictures of your Kreated kharacter fighting other people, shaking their hands, killing them, ominously standing in the middle of nowhere, etc.

The ability to use any fatality move as an ender (ex: rip their heart out then kick them to the ground, punch them in the gut, completely going through their chest, etc.)

CHARACTER SPECIFIC FATALITIES!!!

khamelion, tremor, monter, whatever. (Doesn't really matter to me)

more kombos

more simple, easy to remember things, like x,x,x or a,a,a or y,y,y, or b,b,b. I just think every button should have a 3 hit kombo (it really speeds up gameplay)

Different grabs for everyone (sonya can have leg grab, sindel can have her leg grab thing, onaga can have his MKD grab, etc)

nut punch, leg grab....

kabal should have 2 hookswords, mavado should have 1

Someone from another thread said this which I think might be very exciting Super Smash Bros. MK style.I think that idea would be awesome if they actually put it in the game.Choose characters 4 player Kombat or One player story mode.If it's 4 player Kombat and one is about to die it says "Finish Him"on top is his/her head.And you peform a Fatality that is really simple kind of like the "Create a Fatality"system and you can choose big bosses like Onaga,Goro,Kintaro,and others.You can collect koins and Kurrency from story mode or vs mode.If poeple have a PS2 there can be 4 player mode 1 player and 4 CPUS.Maybe some super special attacks that have been mentioned,Example:Scorpion throws his spear and when it hits the person it turns dark and the victim blows up in a flaming explosion.Air combos and ground combos and maybe some outragous attacks like throwing pies, bombs,crates and there can be power ups.

I think your idea is awesome.Maybe if you mess up doing a Kata the character does the splits and hurts his balls.If it's a female she trips and her whole body falls on the floor.If I may add if you beat a Chracter and it says"blah wins""flawless victory"Maybe you can make the character do a short winning pose by pressing buttons.

Mortal Kombat shooting Mini-game
Ok this Mini-game would be a First person or Third person shooter
You can be 1 player mode or team mode
You can move around by yourself or with a team to pick up power-ups like swords, lasers,guns,crossbows,axes,daggers,pulse blades,staffs,throwing stars,wraith hammers,health,extra-strength,invisibility,invincibilty,and maybe brutality mode.You pick a team or work by yourself.You can fight in arenas like the pit(only the pit would have rooms and be big) and throw your enemies into the spikes.Or instead of picking up stuff you can puch your enemies and grab and throw them.There can also be parrys.

I'd like to see the return of a tournament style mode, like the one they had in MK4, but more expanded, with possibilities for more combatants than 8, and more possibilities for game modes, say you get a random mode, You fight or race etc. Be kinda cool.

These ideas listed below are ideas for Mini-games for arcade mode or vs mode.
2 player test your might!

If you were about to do vs mode with a person or computer there can be a two player test your might which would work like this.
1)First there would be two bars.
2)You would then have to beat your opponent by raising the color in the bar.
3)Both characters would be trying to push eachother on a spike,fire,or acid pit.
4)you are timed 5 seconds so you wouldn't have to hold it long and it would be more easier to fill the bar like MKSM.
5)If it's a tie the ground would break and you would have to test your might again by holding on to something.The winner hold on to the edge the longest.The loser would fall off and fall onto the fire,spike,or acid pit.
6)If it's a tie again you both fall into the pit and both get kurrencey for your hard work

Test your skills

This would determine the players speed at the controller.You are either vs with a other player or CPU.The character you choose will be there vs the other person or CPU.Both of you bow and buttons start popping up on the top screen.Those two characters start doing fast kicks roundhouses,kicks,punches,and jabs.If you keep getting the the right button combonation you start doing grabs to your opponent and take out a weapon.If you fail and do wrong button combonations your opponent kicks you to the floor and stomps on you and also takes out a weapon.You can get a specific amount of kurrency for how many buttons you got right.

Ok it would work like this.There are different button combonations just like the kreate a fatality system.There would be stuff like mortal,bloody,killer,but only with Hara-Kiri's.You could rip off your arms,ribs,and stuff like that,You can also pull out a sword and do all sorts of stuff.If you do this just to save your character from getting killed in a fatality,it wont happen because if you have no ender the opponent will quickly do a fatality or punch them or something.You can also get kurrency for those small combonations.

That would be cool if they brought it back with new upgrades.Maybe you could simply "tag" in your opponent or do a throw that throws the opponent in the air and the "tagged person does an air throw" or pops out of nowhere and does a punch that knocks their opponent down.Maybe a team projectile or attack like double sweep or like Noob-smoke's move "We Live".Team combos and other things like that.Maybe their could be a button sequence that informes your partner to do an attack in 2 or 3 seconds.

BTW Sorry I'm posting a lot.

I have heard this idea in a thread before but I want to see if I can improve it.

Mortal Kombat Clan Wars
----------------------------------
There would be different clans like the Lin Kuei,Black Dragon,etc.It would be kind ok like a Shaolin Monks kind of fighting engine.You can either pick a clan and fight or create your own clan and name it and Create a character.You can go head-to-head with a friend or CPU.You can also pick story mode which can be sort of like this.You pick a clan for example like the Red Dragon clan.Their story is they have a long rivalry with the Black Dragon.Your missions would be to destroy your enemies and win a war with the rival clan.

This is my way on how to improve survival mode.

Survial Mode

It would not be the same like MKSM.You pick a fighter.You start your match in an arena with an opponent.After you deafeat your opponent you go to a different arena with a different opponent but with the same amount of health you had in your other match only you have been healed which means you aqquire health and prizes for every person you defeat.Once you defeat all those characters you have to face a boss.If you win you get stuff like prizes ,kurency,coins,and other things.

Konquest Online

What would you think if Konquest was online?You choose any character from the character select screen and play online with people around the world.You could challenge them to mortal kombat or just pick up coins and challenge CPU's.You can do Konquest mode online,side missions,and challenge others.If you don't like your character you can change it.If they bring back Tag-team mode you can make a clan with other people and challenge grups of people.There can be 2 on 2 matches.4 on 3 and other kinds of amounts.The limit of people that can be in a tag match can be limited to 4 people.

If poeple keep complaining about Motaro and Motaro make it to next-gen and has four legs poeple might be complaining that Motaro can barely do kicks.My opinion is I don't care if Motaro has 2 legs.I'm just glad he's in the game.I hope he stays with 2 legs.If Midway can find a way do balance him out with 4 legs I'm ok with that.If anyone has ideas of how to "complete" Motaro Im me and I'll post it here and make sure you get credit for your idea or you can post it on this thread yourselves.

Mortal Kombat Mini-games for Arcade or vs mode for ideas 1 and 2

Pie in the face!
This Mini-game works kind of like ThePredator151 wrote.You have to press the right button sequence when a buton pops up.If you lose to another player or CPU.Your opponent gets a pie and throws it at your character's face.



March of the Minis
Your character gets shrinked to a small form like in motor kombat and puzzle kombat.You then face your next opponent to a race.Like the first mini-game I wrote in the top you have to press the right button sequence.If your opponent make it to the finish line before you do your character explodes.If you make it,your opponent explodes and you get credit for it by getting prizes like coins.

Mini Kombat
Like the second minigame I wrote you get shrunken into a small character.You then control your minature character and try to find a way to kill your opponent on how many lives he/she has.Weapons and health start falling from the sky and deathtraps would be all aorund you.If your special meter is full you can perform a fatality on your opponent.You can also reverse the CPU's fatality if your special meter is full.You can either reverse it and strike them or reverse the fatality and kill your opponent.

what i would really want is to be able to choose between prim or alt COLOR just like in SC3 so you press R1 (playstation) it goes from :

prim>alt>prim alt color>alt alt color cause many time the 2P costume is way cooler Ex: dairou 2P color was black and it rock instead of brown color

I know this may sound dumb but have matrix in konquest.Like during cut-scenes ionstead of Taven gettin hit by Kabal or something so, a button or buttons appears on the screen like in SC3 and you have to press it in time or else when you go back to gameplay you will have reduced health. If anyone likes this idea(most likely not),please let me know.

I have never played "Matrix"but I really like the way God Of War made you interact on killing bosses.Only this time I want the Midway team to give you a choice on how to kill your enemies or bosses.Like you press one button they do something,press another button you do something else.

Well I'd like a better combo system on konquest.Like you could hit civilians in more ways than one.It would be pretty cool if it had the dragon point system get a certain amount and be a high rank on a online system.

Infedel:5 dp's

Trainee:15 dp's

Evil adviser:30 dp's

Warrior:50 dp's

General:90 dp's

Warlord:150 dp's

Trainer:175 dp's

Shang Tsungs guard:200 dp's

Shao Kahn's guard:250 dp's

Outworld fighter:280 dp's

Assasin:300 dp's

Mortal kombat champion:500 dp's

That is for the people who want too be classed as bad guys.

I would like the system to work in a certain room you get to be in a certain level (depending you're rank).Every time you kill someone online you gain a dragon point they lose one and you start with 10 dp's.I would like the health bars to be like this.














Like a lot of people online beating each other senseless mortal kombat shaolin monks style.Or you could go to a more private room which enables you to play more traditional mk's like.












that would be pretty cool better graphics obviously.Otherwise new mk fan's would complain they would'nt appreciate the classic mk.
